Nos perdimos una caminata pero ganamos otra ⛰️🏃🏻♀️ / We missed a hike but we gained another ⛰️🏃🏻♀️
Hello and welcome to this Wednesday walk. It's my first post in this community that teaches us to appreciate the paths we travel every day, regardless of whether they are the closest, common and routine ones or if they are the most distant, exotic and adventurous. The important thing is to know that in any of them there are interesting and beautiful things to know as well as things worth sharing with other people.

The walk that I will show you today wasn't a planned walk because my sister and I were on our way to another excursion, but the bus left us 🙄😠😕😒 and since we were already close to Cerro La Bandera, one of the mountains that climbs the most the people of my city to exercise, so we decided, we decided that since it was only 6 in the morning, we could take advantage of the cool weather to go up and thus drain a little of the frustration and anger we had 😡😤🤣🤣🤷🏻♀️.
This hill has a paved road that leads directly to the top but there are also many shortcuts and dirt trails for those who like to explore and get to know this place a little more. Although we prefer dirt roads, this time we went for the cement road.

The climb up the cement path is about 20-30 minutes, depending on the pace of each person, it took us about 15 minutes to reach the top where the Youth monument is. We sat down to have breakfast and freshen up and after resting for a while enjoying the beautiful view we went to explore the mountain on the other side.

When you see the city from above and all the mountains around you, you see everything in a different way. Up there we breathe fresh air, we feel the freshness of the breeze, we enjoy the greenery that surrounds us and all of this transmits serenity, tranquility and at the same time a lot of energy to face the day that is just beginning.

We started to go down because it was almost 8 in the morning and the sun was beginning to intensify, it was Saturday and we didn't see many people, neither when we went up nor when we were going down, apparently people don't really like to exercise on the weekends hahaha.

The mountain and being in nature had done their work on me and I had already forgotten about the bus thing, my sister was still a little upset 😬🤭. Do you know what was the funniest thing? In the end, those who went on the excursion, couldn't go to the place where we were supposed to go because it was raining a lot so they went to another place that my sister and I already knew hahaha 🤷🏻♀️😎.

Have a nice day 😺🤘🤗
👍🙂👍
What do you mean "the bus left us"? :O :D How could they leave without you?! On the other hand, it resulted in this amazing spontaneous hike so I think you were glad eventually ;)
🤣🤣🤣🤣 means exactly that, it went away, bye bye, sayonara, adiós 🤦🏻♀️ and when we arrived at the meeting place where the bus parked to wait for all the people who paid for the excursion, a guy told us " the bus already left" 🙄😒 we called the organizer (who was on the bus) and he told us that they couldn't come back 😠🤬 my sister was out of control 🤣🤣 I was upset too but I don't use to lose my energy and nerves on things I can't fix 🤷🏻♀️ so I told her, well, that's it, they're not coming back so forget it, it's not 6 AM yet so let's take advantage and go hiking to La Bandera hill. We were surprised when the guy told us that the bus had gone because we have gone to many excursions and the organizer has a list and he checks if everybody is there before leave we couldn't understand what the hell happened 😒😠🤷🏻♀️🤣
Yes, I was glad although my sister's anger didn't go away so quickly 😬🤭 but when in the afternoon we saw on the WhatsApp hiking group that everything went wrong on their hike, my sister forgot about her anger 🤣🤣
That´s incredible experience. I totally understand your sister´s reaction, I would be fuming too and I would totally demand some refund. On the other hand, it seems that you actually ended up enjoying your day more than the participants of the excursion, maybe the destiny wanted it that way for you :)
Well, the organizer told us that we were not going to lose our payment but that we could use it for the next excursion, but well, that's another story because it didn't happen the way it was agreed 🙄😒🤦🏻♀️
That's right, the people who went to the excursion couldn't enjoy because:
1- It rained a lot in the highway and that's why they couldn't go to the planned place
2- They went to another place that my sister and I already know, but
3- When they started to rise that mountain there was a lot of mud and it was slippery so they only went up a few meters and turned back 🤣🤣🤣🤷🏻♀️
Of course we had much more fun than them and well, the destiny wanted us not to go 🤷🏻♀️😉 the important thing is that we didn't lose our day of hiking and we still did another excursion ⛰️🏃🏻♀️☺️
That´s what I call a happy end :)
🌹 thanks
