Hoy les traigo una receta que casi nunca fallaba en las tardes en mi casa , cuando eramos pequeños, siempre del mediodía , quedaba un poquito de comida ,para la tarde, como eramos muchos , mi mamá , nos hacía empanadas y a cada una le echaba un poquito de carne de pollo (mechada).
La empanada , con un vaso de leche era una comida especial y quedábamos de lo más contento, hasta el otro día.

Today I bring you a recipe that almost never failed in the afternoons in my house, when we were little, always at noon, there was a little food, for the afternoon, as we were many, my mom, made us empanadas and each one had a little bit of chicken meat (larded).
The empanada, with a glass of milk was a special meal and we were very happy, until the next day.

Ingredientes:

1/4 pechuga de pollo mechada, ya guisada con sus aliños.
Harina pan, de arroz.
Una pizca de sal.
Una cucharadita de azúcar.
Aceite , para freír las empanadas.

Ingredients:

1/4 breast of larded chicken, already stewed with its seasonings.
Bread flour, rice flour.
A pinch of salt.
A teaspoon of sugar.
Oil, to fry the empanadas.

Paso a paso:

En una pana, echar la harina pan, de arroz. Luego agrega agua y comienza a amasar, hasta que la masa quede compacta y unida.

Step by step:

In a dough pan, pour the bread flour, rice flour. Then add water and begin to knead, until the dough is compact and united.

Haz una bolita de masa.
Abres una bolsa de plástico por la mitad y coloca la bolita de masa , con las manos vas aplastando la masa , hasta obtener un círculo, coloque en el medio una cucharada de pollo esmechado y doble la empanada, dándole la forma de media luna .

Make a ball of dough.

Open a plastic bag in half and place the ball of dough, with your hands flatten the dough until you get a circle, place a spoonful of shredded chicken in the middle and fold the empanada, giving it the shape of a half moon.

Echar el aceite en el sartén y poner en la candela para que esté muy caliente , cuando vayan a colocar las empanadas.
Esperar a que se doren por un lado y voltear, cuando estén
doradas por los dos lados, ya están listas.

Pour the oil in the frying pan and put it on the fire so that it is very hot, when you are going to place the empanadas.
Wait for them to brown on one side and flip them over.
