[SPA - ENG] Sobre colocar como beneficiario a una comunidad | Opinión
Hace unos días me preguntaron la razón del porqué yo colocaba de beneficiario a la comunidad @espavlog cuando publicaba allí. Me lo preguntó un usuario recurrente de ella, @germanandradeg, al que le dio curiosidad y hasta pensó que (él) estaba pasando por alto alguna regla de la comunidad. Le dije que no, que no era ninguna norma, que lo hacía por iniciativa propia. Quedó satisfecho con la respuesta y se acabó el tema. Pero me quedé pensando en su pregunta y me dije que tal vez otros usuarios se podrían preguntar lo mismo. Este post es para responder esa eventual interrogante a todo el que lea este post.
¿Por qué colocar de beneficiario a la comunidad en donde publico?
Primero, decir que es una costumbre de vieja data en Hive y en la cadena anterior, Steem. No descubrí el agua tibia ni merezco una estatua por hacer este acto de desprendimiento voluntario. Algunos usuarios lo hacen, otros no y está bien. No eres menos por ello y no soy más por hacerlo. ¿Entonces por qué lo hago?
Acostumbro a poner de beneficiario a las comunidades donde publico para mostrar mi apoyo a su trabajo. Mi HP no es nada alto, así que mi voto no hace ningún efecto. ¿Votar algún post de reporte de curación? Nop, a ese post no le haría ni cosquillas mi voto positivo. ¿Votar algún post de sus administradores o moderadores? Mismo resultado, un 0.001 apenas se reflejará en la lista de votantes. Una vergüenza. Pero, esto lleva a otra pregunta
¿Porqué apoyar a la comunidad o a su equipo?
Sé lo que es llevar un proyecto y una comunidad en #Hive. Demanda tiempo y esfuerzo, reuniones, planificación, redacción o grabación de publicaciones, curación, comentar, promocionar en redes sociales 2.0, organización de iniciativas y retos, entre otras cosas. Es un trabajo, muchas veces a tiempo completo y que la gran mayoría lo hace con cariño, empeño y dedicación. Por eso mi apoyo al colocarlos de beneficiarios en mis publicaciones, es mi manera de decirles: "valoro tu trabajo, me gusta cómo lo haces, te doy un porcentaje de lo que gane esta publicación".
¿Lo hago por interés?
Tal vez pueda verse como que lo hago con el fin de que me voten, total, al ellos recomendar mi publicación o decidir votarla, le quedará un porcentaje a su comunidad. La verdad es que no lo hago con ese interés, al menos no es el principal y no me cohíbo de decirlo. Es probable que al ellos ver que coloqué a la comunidad de beneficiario, puedan motivarse más a votar mi post, pero eso no es garantía de nada, de hecho, no siempre lo hacen y aún así, yo sigo publicando en ellas. Es decir, me apoyen o no me apoyen, siempre pondré de beneficiario a esas comunidades que me parecen hacen un buen trabajo, me quede el post en 0.2 HTU o me llegue a 85,00 HTU. No importa, una parte de mis recompensas les quedará a ellos como muestra de mi apoyo a su trabajo.
¿Qué comunidades acostumbro a poner de beneficiario?
Como todos en Hive, tengo comunidades favoritas y las que coloco de beneficiarios cuando publico en ellas son, hasta ahora:
- @holos-lotus
- @beentrepreneur
- @espavlog
- @mundo.autismo
- @liketu (sobre todo cuando publico tutoriales)
Para concluir
Colocar a una comunidad en la lista de beneficiarios en tus publicaciones de Hive es un acto voluntario, no es obligatorio. Te puede parecer absurdo o admirable lo que hago, tal vez lo empieces a hacer a partir de ahora o sencillamente ignores este post; lo que quiero dejar claro, es que lo hago por puro deseo de apoyar a quienes dirigen una comunidad, porque sé el trabajo que conlleva. No importa si mi post es bien o mal recompensado, una parte de lo que genere se quedará en la wallet de ella para seguir apoyando a otros usuarios que publiquen en esa comunidad o como retribución a sus líderes.

A few days ago I was asked why I used the @espavlog community as a beneficiary when I posted on it. Why do I put as beneficiary the community where I post?
First, to say that it is an old custom in Hive and in the previous chain, Steem. I did not discover warm water nor do I deserve a statue for doing this act of voluntary detachment. Some users do it, some don't and that's fine. You are no less for it and I am no more for doing it. So why do I do it?
I'm in the habit of putting up beneficiaries for the communities where I post to show my support for their work. My HP is not high at all, so my vote has no effect. vote any healing report post? Nope, that post wouldn't even be tickled by my upvote. Vote any post from your admins or moderators? Same result, a 0.001 will barely be reflected in the voter list. Shame. But, this leads to another question
Why support the community or your team?
I know what it's like to run a project and a community in #Hive. It demands time and effort, meetings, planning, writing or recording posts, curation, commenting, promoting on social 2.0 networks, organizing initiatives and challenges, among other things. It is a job, often full time, and most of them do it with love, commitment and dedication. That's why my support by placing them as beneficiaries in my publications is my way of telling them: "I value your work, I like the way you do it, I give you a percentage of what this publication earns".
Do I do it out of interest?
Maybe it can be seen as if I do it to get them to vote for me, after all, if they recommend my publication or decide to vote for it, the more will be left for their community. The truth is that I do not do it with that interest, at least it is not the main one and I do not shy away from saying it. It is likely that when they see that I put the beneficiary community, they may be more motivated to vote my post, but that is no guarantee of anything, in fact, they do not always do it and even so, I continue to publish in them. That is to say, whether they support me or not, I will always post as a beneficiary to those communities that I think do a good job, whether the post stays at 0.2 HTU or reaches 85.00 HTU. No matter what, a portion of my rewards will go to them as a token of my support for their work.
What communities do I usually put as beneficiaries?
Like everyone in Hive, I have favorite communities and the ones I place as beneficiaries when I publish in them are, so far:
- @holos-lotus - @beentrepreneur - @espavlog - @mundo.autismo - @liketu (especially when I post tutorials)
To conclude
Placing a community in the list of beneficiaries in your Hive publications is a voluntary act, it is not mandatory. You may find what I do absurd or admirable, maybe you will start doing it from now on or simply ignore this post; what I want to make clear, is that I do it out of pure desire to support those who run a community, because I know the work it entails. No matter if my post is well or poorly rewarded, a part of what it generates will stay in the wallet of it to continue supporting other users who post in that community or as retribution to its leaders.
