[ESP-ENG] Detallando fallas en ordenadores antiguos / Detailing faults in older computers

Hola a todos amigos de “Hive” hoy quiero enseñarles la computadora que estuve revisando, la cual dio bastantes problemas.

Es una computadora bastante antigua de hecho, la cual presento el problema de que encendía y se volvía a apagar en un lapso menor a 30 segundos, para descartar la fuente de poder que estaba bastante deteriorada, probamos con otra del mismo voltaje y siguió dando este error.

Normalmente cuando da ese tipo de problemas que enciende y no dura mas de 30 segundos encendida, automáticamente tienes que empezar a preocuparte debido a que es una falla de la placa madre.

Para los que no conozcan bien una computadora antigua por dentro junto con sus conexiones. En las conexiones todo es bastante simple y todo tiene su explicación detallada escrita en la placa madre, en letras relativamente pequeñas, pero, legibles, las cuales nos indican donde va cada pieza para que no cometamos un error y eso pueda perjudicar a nuestras computadoras.

La fuente de poder de este ordenador es de 450W, esta en particular tenia un ligero aroma como si le hubiera caído agua dentro o tenia demasiada humedad donde estaba resguardada, al probar si encendía o no. Nos percatamos que el primer fallo que había en la computadora, era el cable de alimentación de la fuente, dicho cable estaba dañado, le colocamos otro cable y logro encender, no mostraba pantalla lo cual no es un problema demasiado grave, pero, no duraba mucho tiempo encendida.

Para los que no la conozcan, esta es la fuente de poder de nuestros ordenadores, sin ella no hubiera electricidad en nuestro ordenador y no podría funcionar.

Esta tiene bastante polvo por dentro, pero, no la destapamos para evitar algún otro daño innecesario hacia el ordenador.

Este vendría siendo el cableado que viene junto con una fuente de poder, dichos cables van distribuidos en la placa madre, normalmente para un disco duro por lo menos en este caso, solo se utiliza un cable y para el lector de DVD igualmente solo se utiliza un cable proveniente de la fuente de poder.

Estas son las características de la fuente de poder, para los que quisieran saberlo.

Conclusion

Por lo general los ordenadores pueden presentar innumerable cantidad de fallos donde uno es más difícil para reparar que el anterior. Nosotros (Mis compañeros de grupo y yo) estamos investigando e indagando mas y mas acerca de como predecir un posible fallo que tenga nuestro ordenador y también para identificar que tipo de fallo es y no tengo que desarmar la computadora.

The power supply of this computer is 450W, this particular one had a slight aroma as if water had fallen inside or had too much moisture where it was sheltered, when testing if it turned on or not. We realized that the first fault that was in the computer, was the power cable of the source, the cable was damaged, we put another cable and managed to turn on, did not show screen which is not too serious a problem, but it did not last long on.

For those of you who don't know, this is the power supply for our computers, without it there would be no electricity in our computer and it wouldn't be able to run.

This one has quite a lot of dust inside, but, we don't uncover it to avoid some other unnecessary damage towards the computer.

This would be the wiring that comes along with a power supply, these cables are distributed on the motherboard, normally for a hard drive at least in this case, only one cable is used and for the DVD player also only one cable from the power supply is used.

Conclusion
.

In general computers can present innumerable amount of failures where one is more difficult to repair than the previous one. We (My group mates and I) are researching and inquiring more and more about how to predict a possible fault that our computer has and also to identify what kind of fault it is and I don't have to disassemble the computer.
