Holaa hermosa comunidad de Hive ❤ el día de hoy quiero compartirles mi experiencia como vendedora de comida en la calle :0 realmente nunca me imagine llegar hacer esto, pero lo tenía que hacerlo con unos amigos para si entre todos reunir para unos sueter de Comunicaciones.
Hello beautiful Hive community ❤ today I want to share with you my experience as a street food vendor :0 I never really imagined I would get to do this, but I had to do it with some friends to raise money for some Communications sweaters.
Un día antes nos reunimos todos en la tarde a picar los aliños y preparar la masa ya que íbamos a vender hallaquitas de Chicharrón y Carne molida, pero se nos hizo de noche y nos dimos cuenta que no lo teníamos que hacer de un día para otro no, sino 2 días antes más o menos.
No les miento, es matador vender y eso que eramos varios, sobretodo el proceso de limpiar las hojas, seleccionarlas, envolver, amarrar y amasar, es horrible, recuerdo que nos fuimos a las nueve y media y otros se quedaron hasta las diez para el otro día levantarnos a las cinco de la mañana e irnos a vender.
The day before we all got together in the afternoon to chop the seasonings and prepare the dough because we were going to sell hallaquitas de Chicharrón and ground beef, but it got dark and we realized that we did not have to do it from one day to the next, but 2 days before more or less.
I'm not lying to you, it is killing to sell and that we were several, especially the process of cleaning the leaves, selecting them, wrapping, tying and kneading, it is horrible, I remember that we left at half past nine and others stayed until ten o'clock the next day to get up at five and go to sell.
Todos estábamos muy juiciosos trabajando xD realmente yo tenía mucha flojera y cansancio ya que ese día camine mucho, pero si se pudo amigos.
We were all very busy working xD I was really lazy and tired because I walked a lot that day, but we made it, my friends.
Bueno llega el día siguiente y no habían cocinado las hallaquitas ya que no las pudieron terminar ni de amarrar el día anterior, pero como llegamos temprano las cocinamos y empezamos a organizar el toldo y las cosas que nos íbamos a llevar, esperamos 1 hora más o menos en la iglesia y nos fuimos al lugar.
Well, the next day arrived and they had not cooked the hallaquitas since they could not even finish tying them the day before, but since we arrived early we cooked them and started to organize the awning and the things we were going to take with us, we waited for an hour or so in the church and we went to the place.
Estábamos en una calle muy transitada la verdad pero las ventas no iban muy bien ya que era muy temprano, pero no importaba nosotros seguíamos ahí, mis padres y yo compramos unos combos y comimos allí para probar, y realmente nos quedaron buenísimos, el combo eran 2 hallaquitas, 1 jugo + su respectiva salsa $1.
We were in a very busy street but the sales were not going very well since it was very early, but no matter what, we were still there, my parents and I bought some combos and ate there to try, and they were really good, the combo was 2 hallaquitas, 1 juice + their respective sauce $1.
Un amigo de nosotros, mi hermano y yo decidimos caminar con las hallaquitas, el jugo, los vasos y la salsa por toda la zona y ver que tal nos iba, pero solo vendimos 2 combos la cual no esta mal pero no era lo que esperabamos, realmente estábamos cansados y no aguntabamos la sed así que yo brinde unas gricas chichas.
A friend of us, my brother and I decided to walk with the hallaquitas, juice, glasses and salsa around the area and see how we were doing, but we only sold 2 combos which is not bad but not what we expected, we were really tired and not thirsty so I toasted a few gricas chichas.
Y bueno así fue nuestro día, finalmente nos fuimos a la una y media de la tarde satisfechos con lo que vendimos.
And well that's how our day went, we finally left at half past one in the afternoon satisfied with what we sold.
