Espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy y feliz sábado, recientemente termine este dibujo el cual es para un concurso en Instagram y hoy les compartiré el proceso de la lluvia de ideas que tome como referencia para poder hacer mi dibujo de manera original, espero les guste y los invito a leerme! ❤️✨

Hello my creative friends at hive! I hope you are feeling great today and happy Saturday, I recently finished this drawing which is for a contest on Instagram and today I will share with you the brainstorming process that I took as a reference to be able to make my drawing in an original way, I hope you like it and I invite you to read me! ❤️✨

Materiales/Materials

Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), mis colores y un corrector líquido blanco.

What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), my colors and a white liquid corrector.

Mi idea principal para el dibujo era, por supuesto, la mascota de la tienda y en este caso la mascota es una ardilla, quería hacer un estilo algo realista pero con un toque caricaturesco, al reunir varias imágenes e ideas en Pinterest y tener una imagen clara de lo que haría empecé a hacer el boceto a lapiz, haciéndolo delicadamente para evitar manchar la hoja y presionar mucho el lápiz, continúe usando mis colores primero delineado el círculo con verde manzana y todo el borde del dibujo de la ardilla con color naranja, con varios tonos de verdes desde claro hasta oscuro fui pintando las hojas del aro y las ramitas, con amarillo mostaza y amarillo claro fui pintando las flores, la luz por fuera del aro y las estrellas, con marrón claro y oscuro fui pintando las manchas de la cabeza de la ardilla, con marrón claro y rosado pinte su nariz y con rojo pinte los hongos alrededor.

My main idea for the drawing was, of course, the mascot of the store and in this case the mascot is a squirrel, I wanted to make a somewhat realistic style but with a cartoonish touch, gathering several images and ideas on Pinterest and having a clear image of what I would do I started to make the sketch in pencil, doing it delicately to avoid staining the sheet and pressing the pencil too much, I continued using my colors, first I outlined the circle with apple green and all the edge of the squirrel drawing with orange, with various shades of green from light to dark I painted the leaves of the ring and the twigs, with mustard yellow and light yellow I painted the flowers, the light outside the ring and the stars, with light and dark brown I painted the spots on the squirrel's head, with light brown and pink I painted his nose and with red I painted the mushrooms around it.

Con rosado y negro pinte la bolsa con el nombre de la tienda que sostiene la ardilla, con marrón oscuro y negro pinte sus ojos y usé el marrón oscuro para ir marcando los detalles de los pelitos de su cola, con rosado y azul pinte sus lentes haciendo alusión a los lentes que venden en la tienda. Mezclando naranja, amarillo mostaza y marrón claro pinte toda su cola y con esa misma combinación de colores fui pintando sus patas y sus orejas, con marrón, naranja y amarillo pinte las mariposas que reposan en las ramas alrededor del círculo. Comencé a pintar la piel de su cuerpo usando un poco de marrón oscuro para hacer detalles de los pelitos en algunas partes nada más para evitar sobrecargarlo de detalles, luego use el marrón claro para hacer una base suave alrededor y unir ambos tonos con el marrón oscuro.

With pink and black I painted the bag with the name of the store that holds the squirrel, with dark brown and black I painted his eyes and used the dark brown to mark the details of the little hairs on his tail, with pink and blue I painted his glasses alluding to the glasses sold in the store. Mixing orange, mustard yellow and light brown I painted his tail and with that same combination of colors I painted his legs and ears, with brown, orange and yellow I painted the butterflies that rest on the branches around the circle. I started to paint the skin of his body using a little dark brown to make details of the little hairs in some parts just to avoid overloading him with details, then I used light brown to make a soft base around and join both tones with the dark brown.

Este es el resultado del dibujo, terminé de pintar toda la piel y dejé un espacio en blanco para hacer una mancha blanca en su pelaje y luego al terminar el dibujo use el corrector líquido blanco para hacer los brillos en sus ojos, en algunas de las flores y en las mariposas. Me encantó el dibujo y le doy todas las buenas vibras para ganar el concurso e igualmente si no lo gano me queda la satisfacción de haber hecho un dibujo de un animal y que quedara justamente como lo imaginé y me sirvió de práctica para empezar a desenvolverme mejor al dibujar animales. 💗✨

This is the result of the drawing, I finished painting all the fur and left a blank space to make a white spot on his fur and then when I finished the drawing I used the white liquid corrector to make the shines in his eyes, in some of the flowers and in the butterflies. I loved the drawing and I give it all the good vibes to win the contest and even if I don't win it I still have the satisfaction of having made a drawing of an animal and that it was just as I imagined it and it served me as practice to start to develop myself better when drawing animals. 💗✨
