Ravaged by a magic combo! [ESP-ENG]
Good afternoon and happy new year, here I am again with another battle to share, this time with a very defense oriented condition as the assigned condition for this week's challenge. SPOILER: We got swept haha, this time things didn't go so well for my team despite having the support of the mighty Witch of Warwick in our ranks.
Buenas tardes y feliz año nuevo, por acá estoy de nuevo con otra batalla para compartir, esta vez con una condición bastante orientada a la defensa como condición asignada para el reto de esta semana. SPOILER: Nos arrasaron jaja, esta vez las cosas no fueron tan bien para mi equipo a pesar de contar con el apoyo de la poderosa Witch of Warwick en nuestras filas.
Condicion of the week: Armored Up
All units get a +2 armor buff at the beginning of the game.
On the front Cursed Windeku took advantage of his spines to hurt the giant of the hill, however, the strategy I had of having 4 points of armor did not work very well, because Venari Spellsmith, used his ability to reduce the armor of my tank by 2 points and also did magic damage. And it was Goblin Psychic that gave the final blow to Cursed Windeku.
It wasn't until the second round that the giant of the hill fell, at the hands of Witch of Warwick.
En el frente Cursed Windeku aprovechó sus espinas para lastimar al gigante de la colina, sin embargo, la estrategia que tenía de tener 4 puntos de armadura no funcionó muy bien, pues Venari Spellsmith, uso su habilidad para reducir en 2 puntos la armadura de mi tanque y además hizo daño mágico. Y fue Goblin Psychic el que dio el golpe final a Cursed Windeku.
No fue hasta el segundo round que cayó el gigante de la colina, a manos de Witch of Warwick.
For the second place Regal Peryton was the card chosen by my opponent, the magic was quite prominent in his lineup, as Obsidean gives a bonus of magic damage quite usable.
On my side was Arachne Thug, a good Reach carrier, quite admirable but not very resistant against mages, he fell in the second round, at the hands of Mycelic Slipspawn, after a hit from Regal Peryton.
Para el segundo puesto Regal Peryton fue la carta elegida por mi rival, la magia se destacó bastante en su alineación, pues Obsidean otorga una bonificación de daño mágico bastante aprovechable.
Por mi parte estuvo Arachne Thug, un buen portador de Reach, bastante admirable pero poco resistente contra magos, el mismo cayó en el segundo round, a manos de Mycelic Slipspawn, luego de un golpe de Regal Peryton.
Witch of Warwick was my third card, placed to take advantage of his "blood lust", but little used because of all the damage he received. He was only able to accumulate one charge of his ability, but the opposing mages ended up falling in the third round, at the hands of Regal Paryton.
Madcap Magus, a carrier of Scattershot and Life Leach, was chosen by the rival team for the third position. He resisted until the end, even finishing off Uraeus.
Witch of Warwick fue mi tercer carta, puesta para aprovechar su "blood lust", pero poco aprovechado por todo el daño que recibió. Tan solo pudo acumular una carga de su habilidad, pero los magos rivales acabó cayendo en el tercer round, a manos de Regal Paryton.
Madcap Magus, un portador de Scattershot y Life Leach, fue el elegido del equipo rival para la tercera posición. el mismo resistió hasta el final, acabando incluso con Uraeus.
For the fourth position, Ravenhood Warden was my choice, designed to take advantage of the armor it brings, but countered by Venari Spellsmith, a neutral card that was also in fourth place but from the opponent's lineup.
He took advantage of his "dispel" ability, to completely break Ravenhood's "protect" ability on several occasions, leaving my defensive strategy oriented against physical and ranged damage useless.
Para la cuarta posición, Ravenhood Warden fue mi elegido, pensado para aprovechar la armadura que aporta, pero contrarrestado por Venari Spellsmith, una carta neutral que estuvo también en el cuarto lugar pero de la alineación rival.
El mismo aprovechó su habilidad "dispel", para romper completamente la habilidad "protect" de Ravenhood en varias ocasiones, dejando inutilizada mi estrategia defensiva orientada contra daño físico y a rango.
Silent Sha-Vi and Ureus, the snake duo with Sneak was my rear combo, these two managed to do enough damage, but not enough to end the rival strategy. In the rival combo in the rear, Goblin Psychic and Micelic Slipspawn were covering quite well, Slipspawn stole the spotlight for a while because of his "Taunt" ability. It was Ravenhood Warden who gave Slipspawn the final blow, and Silent Sha-vi finished off Goblin Psychic.
By the 4th round only the two snakes were left, who were vulnerable to the three remaining mages, Silent Sha-Vi fell to Venari Spellsmith, after only being able to break Regal Peryton's armor.
Ureus fell to Madcap Magus, after missing a hit against Regal Peryton, known for his great speed and "flying" ability that makes him even more elusive. He stood firm alongside Venari SpellSmith and Maugs, three powered-up mages that finished off the creatures I had left in the lineup.
Silent Sha-Vi y Ureus, la dupla de serpientes con Sneak fue mi combo en la retaguardia, estos dos lograron hacer bastante daño, pero no lo suficiente para acabar con la estrategia rival. En el combo rival de la retaguardia, Goblin Psychic y Micelic Slipspawn estuvieron cubriendo bastante bien, Slipspawn se robó la atención por un rato por causa de su habilidad "Taunt". Fue Ravenhood Warden quien le dio el golpe final a Slipspawn, y Silent Sha-vi acabó con Goblin Psychic.
Para el 4to round ya solo quedaban las dos serpientes, quienes quedaron vulnerables ante los tres magos restantes, Silent Sha-Vi cayó a manos de Venari Spellsmith, luego de solo ser capaz de romper la armadura de Regal Peryton.
Ureus cayó a manos de Madcap Magus, luego de fallar un golpe contra Regal Peryton, conocido por su gran velocidad y habilidad "flying" que lo hacen todavía más escurridizo. El mismo quedó firme junto a Venari SpellSmith y Maugs, tres magos potenciados que acabaron con las criaturas que me quedaban en la alineación.
