House Flipper: Aunt's home to redecorate [Let's Play Games #63]

Hello! What are doing the coolest people on the blockchain? πŸ™
I hope everyone is having a nice day and it's staying safe wherever you are located! πŸ˜‡

As you have probably been waiting for, today I came with one more job taken in House Flipper but which this time is going to be the last job like this because starting with the next week I'll begin purchasing entire houses which I redecorate as I think it works the best and then put it an auction being followed by another round of negotiations to pick the best person that should buy this from me.

While so far I only took care of various jobs received on my email with more or less tasks to be completed, the new week I will come with something new and definitely a lot more work to be done and I honestly can't wait for that! 😍

Anyway, as we have to wait a little bit more until we can discuss more about that step taken further in my journey in House Flipper, above you will see a screenshot to the laptop where I read for the last time a job that I should take care of before I move on to more serious things.

From the title, everything seems pretty easy being needed to only redecorate the house of my client's aunt, but if you read the entire story you'll understand that there is going to be a little bit more work needed than expected because we need to buy new furniture, destroy walls and give a completely new look to the house. ✨

BEFORE renovation

As soon as I entered the house I realized that there is not going to be needed too much cleaning on this one by looking at the top right corner on the map which was indicating only a small room that needs this action to be taken, but the lists of tasks were still pretty big so I decided to start selling all the objects requested here, that were no less than 27. 😲

BEFORE renovation

The biggest change in this room was to destroy the wall that was forming a separate room for the kitchen and by doing this, to make the living room measure 29 square meters as well as becoming open space with the kitchen.

While I was required to make only one room from two others, of course, the walls and floors were looking completely different, so as soon as I got rid of the old furniture and electric items from the previous kitchen, I decided to paint everything with new colours and make the floor be the same everywhere.

AFTER renovation

I know this is looking quite empty right now but I think it's a huge step forward judging by how everything looked before. Actually, both the wall colour and the floor remained as it was on the living part of the room but I simply extended these on the side of the kitchen as well, keeping the wall with a white colour where the kitchen furniture will be placed.

But in order to make this look perfect, we should start doing some shopping because the list from the right side of the screen was showing that we need to buy 8 objects here! πŸ€‘

AFTER decoration

Aaaaand... here we go!

I know this perhaps looks more crowded than expected but that's because I couldn't resist the temptation to buy a lot more things than those mentioned on the list. Oops! πŸ˜…

For example, what kitchen is that if you don't see a frying pan on the cooker stove? What kitchen is that if there is not a coffee maker on the furniture? What kitchen is that without seeing all those storage boxes for condiments, tea, sugar, coffee, etc? And the list can continue! πŸ˜ƒ

I also added some posters, a rug, and more plants and candles to decorate everything more nicely than it would turn out without them. What do you think though? Does it look like being too much? Maybe I exaggerated a bit? πŸ€” Let me know!

BEFORE renovation

As I moved further, the next challenge came from the dining room which not only that it had a similar situation being needed to sell quite a few objects here but to also destroy the wall that was separating the dining room from the bedroom.

You can see what was behind that wall in the following pictures. πŸ™ƒ

AFTER removing the wall

After removing the wall, we had to do exactly the same thing we did in the dining room, namely, to sell all the objects that could be found on this part of the house so there is lots of empty space left to renovate everything and come with a completely new looking.

Both removing the wall and selling all those items were sooooo satisfying thinking that I was going to have no borders on what I want to purchase and how to transform this place. 😜

AFTER renovation

If you are paying attention, you will notice that the floor remained the same since there were no damages on its end to be required to change it, but also the wall colours which is the same with the one that was before but I had to first repair all those missing parts of the main wall and then add a freshly-new colour on it.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a "before" picture with the list of the things that I would buy in this room, but other than the furniture and the bed there was nothing else requested from what I remember. πŸ€”

AFTER renovation

Anyway, this time I had a small revelation with how well the blue shades go along with the golden yellow colour so that's why I added a yellow rug on the ground, a yellow resting place in front of the bed and build the gaming station being based on the blue colour.

Along with these, I couldn't move further without buying lots of plants, posters and a few extra lamps for a more relaxing vibe in the place that is supposed to be an office but which will also play the role of a bedroom. Just like it happens in my current situation in real life.

I dream of having a separate office from the bedroom but until I will make that dream become reality, I will have to wait a few more years. πŸ˜„

Anyway, that was the whole job from House Flipper today even if it was a fairly short and quick one, but hey! Just as I said, the next week is going to come with lots of interesting things in this beautiful game that I became addicted of pretty fast, so can't wait to hear from you! πŸ˜‡

πŸ”“ What is your favourite part of this redecorated house though?
The office or the kitchen + living room part?

Personally, I like the office more but I think the whole house looks like being a brand new place rather than a redecorated one. Which is pretty awesome! 😁

As always, thanks for taking the time to read, upvote, reblog and comment!
Every single person I get to know through my posts it's an honour for me!
