Early Fishing Day 🐟 (14 pictures)

Hello photo lovers! πŸ’›
What's everyone doing? I hope you are all good and enjoying life the best you can. 😊

Personally, I was a little bit nostalgic today thinking about the last time I've seen a sunrise which was a few years ago and it made me think that I definitely need to do an effort and wake up yearly in one of the following days when we will have good weather and I'll manage to admire a cool sunrise.

However, until that happens, I thought about sharing some pictures from the last sunrise I've seen which happened on the same day I was going to fishing with my family so this post will present both of the moments.

I don't know if you are doing the same but every time I was planning to wake up early to see the sun rising again, I was always doing it very early in the morning ending up with at least one hour before the whole show.

I was doing that because I consider both sunrises and sunsets a bliss to see no matter if you can admire them daily or just once in a while, so I didn't want to miss seeing the sunrise or arriving at the planned destination in the middle of the whole action.

I can't complain though, because the darkness of the night always represented a very relaxing thing to watch for me and I always loved that kind of silence so I sort of learned to embrace both the darkness and the coolness of the morning before meeting the sun who will adjust the temperature pretty fast. In plus, this kind of cold mornings are such a satisfying thing during the hot days of the summer, so I declare myself a fan of the cold mornings too.

Another fact I love about both sunrises and sunsets is the thing that every minute is different. Is not like you go there, take a picture and that's it because I doubt someone will return from a sunrise/sunset view with less than 5 pictures.

We are talking about a beauty that requires pictures taken at, literally, every stage, starting with the darkness of the night until the blue colour is slowly replaced with yellow, then orange, red, and last but not least, the perfect circle which has the impressive power of changing the whole landscape, temperature and mood of those who are watching it.

Since I was a kid I used to go fishing with my family on the Olt River which is amongst the most important rivers Romania has, talking about a pretty long water flow that crosses 7 counties and it springs from the Eastern Carpathians intersecting with a few more mountains on its way.

I always was fascinated by rivers and springs seeing so much water flowing without stopping at least once. Is just a personal satisfaction to see all that water following its trail without caring too much about what happens around it. Hence why I love so much the expression: "Just go with the flow".

Anyway, as soon as the day properly began, we looked for a different place where to go fishing which would be a little bit further from the traffic noise, so we ended up very close to a small secret island where not for a few times we noticed all kind of rare birds but also heard people going on haunting.

Before reaching our fishing spot we had to cross a narrow path surrounded by lots of hop bushes which was the first time I've seen so close this kind of plant.

Honestly, the single product I consumed which had hops in its composition was beer, but this plant is part of the Cannabaceae family which means that is pretty well linked with Cannabis that I'm sure everyone heard about.

So on a quick search on the internet, I found out about how important this plant is and how many diseases it's the remedy for, which is another reminder that nature is, literally, offering all people need for a simple and healthy life. If only more people would realize this thing...

The rest of the day passed pretty fast while fishing and having other activities like making a barbecue, reading, exploring nature but also taking lots of pictures that are such a good medicine to watch while not being able to get out there and explore the world. I honestly miss these days and I don't know when they will be back.

Anyway, since many people love either sunrise or sunset, I'd like to ask: What kind of person are you? A sunrise or sunset lover? πŸŒ…

Nature is so amazing. I love that you recognized some medicinal plants on your journey as well. I'd say I'm more of a sunset person, as my body protests early wake-up calls, but when I see a sunrise, it's always a blessing. I do wake up at dawn every day to let the dog out, then go back to bed for another couple hours, so I greet the sun briefly before snuggling back into comfort. Glad I stopped by! The pictures give me a sense of how peaceful your morning was.

I'm pretty sure that most of the plants we all meet in our daily routines have some medical remedy too! Too bad we don't recognize them all.

I totally understand you on the part of not waking up very early in the morning to see the sunrise. But getting to see the sunset more often than the sunrise it makes the last one seem like a bigger blessing than the sunset. Unfortunately with all the things currently going on in the world, every day is a blessing - no mather if we catch a sunrise/sunset or not.
