Saludos a todos los miembros de la comunidad, ¿cómo están? El hecho de un embarazo no planificado puede convertirse en un tema delicado para una gran parte de la población, dependiendo de en qué sitio específico suceda pues se tendrá que lidiar con diferentes factores económicos, sociales y culturales, sin mencionar que a esto debe sumársele el género pues puede resultar en una experiencia significativamente distinta desde la perspectiva de la mujer, a la del hombre. Esta es una historia algo suave respecto a la presentación de lo que aborda y que por ello se nos permite disfrutar de las maravillas de la suerte en una situación poco ideal, porque a veces no nos sucede lo que queremos, pero terminamos con algo incluso mejor a la larga, aunque con tropiezos por nuestro camino… la vida tampoco es tan fácil.
Greetings to all members of the community, how are you? The fact of an unplanned pregnancy can become a delicate issue for a large part of the population, depending on the specific place where it happens because you will have to deal with different economic, social and cultural factors, not to mention that to this must be added the gender because it can result in a significantly different experience from the perspective of the woman, to that of the man. This is a somewhat gentle story with respect to the presentation of what it addresses and that is why we are allowed to enjoy the wonders of luck in a less than ideal situation, because sometimes what we want doesn't happen to us, but we end up with something even better in the long run, albeit with stumbles along the way... life isn't that easy either.
No es una lectura que esté acostumbrada a hacer, pero miré el resumen por casualidad y me llamó la atención. Debo admitir que fue más por cosa de ir a confirmar algunos comentarios a los que también les eché una revisada porque cuando hacen este tipo de historias tienden a mostrar a un protagonista masculino tóxico, que se romantiza porque todavía hay personas que entienden esos actos como romance a pesar de que muchos especialistas han explicado por qué no son nada positivos en una pareja, quise saber si era cierto que en este caso estaban mostrando a un hombre dulce, todo un caballero, que sabe respetar a la protagonista femenina. Puedo decir que sí me convence lo que leí aunque deben hacerse algunas anotaciones porque no todo es perfecto, pero a mí me pareció un nivel de toxicidad aceptable.
It's not a read I'm used to doing, but I happened to look at the summary and it caught my attention. I must admit that it was more for the sake of confirming some comments that I also checked because when they do this kind of stories they tend to show a toxic male protagonist, who is romanticized because there are still people who understand those acts as romance even though many specialists have explained why they are not positive in a couple, I wanted to know if it was true that in this case they were showing a sweet man, a gentleman, who knows how to respect the female protagonist. I can say that I am convinced by what I read, although some notes should be made because not everything is perfect, but it seemed to me an acceptable level of toxicity.
Cuando la persona que te gusta entra en una relación con otra que no eres tú duele, puedo dar fe de ello, y están quienes se dejan llevar por un impulso momentáneo tomando decisiones que probablemente no sean las mejores, acostarse con un extraño sin usar protección está dentro de ellas. Me compadecí con Hee-won cuando la conocí porque comprendí sus sentimientos para terminar en semejante situación, pero después de se profundiza poco a poco sobre este personaje comprendes que en la vida le han tocado pasar por situaciones difíciles, que a su vez se relacionan con su nuevo papel de madre en el que se encontrará, tener la oportunidad de verla en diferentes facetas por los diferentes momentos que se presentan en la historia, cometiendo errores como todos, resolviendo sus dificultades y asumiendo responsabilidades la hizo interesante.
When the person you like enters into a relationship with someone other than yourself it hurts, I can attest to that, and there are those who get carried away by a momentary impulse making decisions that are probably not the best, sleeping with a stranger without using protection is among them. I sympathized with Hee-won when I met her because I understood her feelings to end up in such a situation, but after you go deeper little by little about this character you understand that in life she has gone through difficult situations, which in turn are related to her new role as a mother in which she will find herself, having the opportunity to see her in different facets for the different moments that arise in the story, making mistakes like everyone, solving her difficulties and assuming responsibilities made her interesting.
Para entender un poco más sobre cómo actúa el protagonista masculino, Doo-joon, habría que tratar de comprender a su vez esos convencionalismos sociales en corea del sur respecto a tener hijos fuera de un matrimonio, aunque se podría entender por sí mismo esa concepción de querer casarte con el otro padre del bebé pues aquí en Latinoamérica aunque en menor medida también existe presión social cuando se dan estas situaciones. En un principio las actitudes de ambos están algo rígidas por todo eso de que no se conocen en lo absoluto, más allá de haber pasado una excelente noche de pasión, pero a medida de que van pasando los capítulos puede percibirse que cambia la dinámica entre ellos, muchos de los malos entendidos resolviéndose mientras se están conociendo mejor en un proceso con buen ritmo.
To understand a little more about how the male protagonist, Doo-joon, acts, it would be necessary to try to understand those social conventions in South Korea regarding having children out of wedlock, although one could understand by itself that conception of wanting to marry the other parent of the baby, because here in Latin America, although to a lesser extent, there is also social pressure when these situations occur. At first the attitudes of both are somewhat rigid because they do not know each other at all, beyond having spent an excellent night of passion, but as the chapters go by you can perceive that the dynamic between them changes, many of the misunderstandings being resolved while they are getting to know each other better in a process with a good pace.
Me gusta mucho el arte a cargo de Kang Ki, desde hace algún tiempo he estado apreciando en mayor medida este estilo de dibujo porque se siente con espacios para respirar, no es tan sobrecargado como algunos en donde existen viñetas y diálogos por cualquier lado de la página. Distribuyen bastante bien lo que muestran para que se vea estéticamente bonito, sigas con facilidad el hilo de las conversaciones, dónde nos encontramos, hacia dónde vamos… de verdad me he encontrado disfrutando mucho de lo que ofrecen. En términos de la historia que presenta Lee Jung, hay un equilibro en donde se respetan los procesos de los personajes en su mayoría, momentos de calma por haber resuelto problemas que aparecen en momentos determinados, el drama sí tiene un sentido tanto para desarrollar personajes como para agregarles profundidad.
I really like the art by Kang Ki, for some time now I've been appreciating this style of drawing because it feels like it has space to breathe, it's not as overloaded as some where there are vignettes and dialogues all over the page. They distribute what they show quite well so that it looks aesthetically pleasing, you easily follow the thread of conversations, where we are, where we are going... I've really found myself enjoying a lot of what they have to offer. In terms of the story Lee Jung presents, there is a balance where the characters' processes are respected for the most part, moments of calm for having solved problems that come up at particular times, the drama does have a sense of both developing characters and adding depth to them.
