It's terrifying to think of something like this happening

These days a friend came to visit me, he was at my house for about 5 days where we shared a lot of time together, but he left just today and I remember that in those days he was with me we used to show each other TikToks that we found interesting, damn, I think everyone does it, right? Haha! Well, the fact is that he leaves and sent me a message on WhatsApp with a TikTok link to this short film, the truth is that I did not expect much since on TikTok you can only get mostly stupid videos, but from time to time we can also get things like this.

I'm not much of watching short films, much fewer movies and obviously series either. But a short film interests me a lot because it's short, just like "Other Side of the Box" is. The short film only lasts about 15 minutes, but it terrifies as if it were the most terrifying scene in the fucking world. It all starts with a cute couple at home having fun, listening to music, and making dinner. All good so far, until Shawn, the girl's ex-boyfriend (I don't remember his name, sorry for that XD), suddenly arrives.

Everyone is shocked because no one was expecting a visit, much less from that guy, lol, who the fuck is expecting a visit from your partner's ex-boyfriend? Nobody. Anyway, the short film continues with a small conversation between the two boyfriends and Shawn apologizes for coming and tells her that he just wanted to give her a gift, the truth is that it was quite strange, I wouldn't accept a gift from my partner's ex-boyfriend, we never know the intentions (I'll be right).

The gift looks nice and big, it's a pretty big box wrapped in gift paper, and it comes with a letter. That letter the boyfriend tries to read it but Shawn jumps up and says "Don't read it, open the box first, and then the letter will make sense). Shawn looked strange, I myself could tell despair, nervousness, fear, and guilt since I saw him. Such Maybe it wasn't his intention but it's not fair that he did that either. The boyfriend says, you're right and proceeds to open the box, when you open it incredibly you can't see anything inside, it's literally a box with a big void inside and even if you wanted to see the bottom of the box (as is usually the case), you won't be able to see it.

As soon as the boyfriend opened the box, Shawn literally ran out of the house and it was very strange. By the way, Shawn asked about his ex-girlfriend and the boyfriend told him that she wasn't there (the girl didn't want to know anything about Shawn). Shawn felt some calm as soon as he heard that his ex wasn't home. Returning to the story, then the girl comes out and asks what happened, the boyfriend is literally stunned and starts looking for a flashlight to see the bottom, there isn't one, then he tries to find objects to throw and see if the bottom of the room sounds. the box got a pencil and threw it. There I felt fear of all kinds, I did not understand why the box has no bottom, what is there? The boyfriend also tried to put his hand in but the girl told him "NOOO!". It was clearly dangerous.

The short film gets even more interesting when they turn their backs to the box, remembering the note that came with the gift, it said "Never stop looking at the box, what's in there comes out when you're not looking at it". When the boyfriend read that letter to me he gave me a heart attack, two cardiac arrests, and 5 seizures. He was very scared and knowing that they had not seen the box for a while, they suddenly heard that something fell to the floor and yep, it was the pencil that was thrown into the box. They turned around and were met with something poking over the edge of the box, must be too fucking scary.

The terror that this film produced in me is indescribable, I am a lover of the terrifying but I am also scared hahaha. Now everything gets much more complicated and the couple gets worried, they start calling Shawn, but obviously, he doesn't answer the phone so they did a test, they said "let's stop looking at the box, just to see what happens, maybe it's harmless... " As soon as they both turn around, BOOM!, the guy at the checkout counter says, "Ben, never stop looking at me." (I just remembered the boyfriend's name is Ben.) Well, they turned around and started deliberating what the fuck to do with this.

Ben says that the best thing is to go find Shawn, but it's crazy really. First, because the box said "Ben, NEVER STOP WATCHING ME" I swear it said it in a satanic voice haha. In the end, Ben went out to look for Shawn, the girl stared at the box. Shawn finally answered Ben and summarizing the call, Shawn was very upset because Ben left the girl alone at home, knowing that the gift was for him and the one who should continue to see the box was Ben, not his girlfriend... There I jumped out of fear, and not because there were many scares, but because there was too much suspense and tension in the environment, apart from the fact that I saw the short film in the dark and with good volume.

Shawn warns Ben not to even think about going back to the house, Ben just hung up the phone and drove at full speed, got to the house and everything was off, except for a kitchen light that led right into the basement, Ben yells the name of his girl and she incredibly responds as if everything was fine, Ben scares her even more when she hears that and doesn't see the box anywhere, (at this moment she was sweating from the terror that was there, she was literally expecting a huge scare, there was almost no noise and I know that when that happens it is because a scare will come). Ben starts down the stairs and finds himself in another room downstairs, where he sees the guy from the box standing there, then...

Damn, then he tells him to look up, and right at the entrance to the basement was a group of about 5 people staring at him, damn, how fucking scary. Then one of them reached up and turned off the light switch. And end. This is how I end this great short film that if I'm honest, I really liked it. All because of its simplicity and a great theme, I had never heard of a story like this haha.

Es terrorífico pensar que algo así suceda

Estos días vino un amigo a visitarme, estuvo alrededor de unos 5 días en mi casa en dónde compartimos bastante tiempo juntos, pero el se fue justamente hoy y recuerdo que en esos días que estuvo conmigo acostumbramos a enseñarnos TikToks que nos parecieran interesantes, joder, creo que todo el mundo lo hace ¿no? haha. Bueno, el caso es que el se va y me envió un mensaje por WhatsApp con un link de TikTok hacia este cortometraje, la verdad que no esperaba gran cosa puesto que en TikTok solo se consiguen videos estúpidos en su mayoría, pero alguna que otra vez también podemos conseguir cosas como esto.

No soy mucho de ver cortometrajes, mucho menos películas y obviamente que series tampoco. Pero un cortometraje me interesa bastante por ser corto, justo como es "Other Side of the Box". El cortometraja apenas dura unos 15 minutos, pero aterra como si fuese la escena más terrorífica del puto mundo. Todo comienza con una linda pareja en su casa divirtiéndose, escuchan música y hacen la cena. Todo bien hasta el momento, hasta que derepente llega Shawn, el ex novio de la chica (no recuerdo el nombre, sorry for that XD).

Todos se impresionan porque nadie esperaba visita, y mucho menos de ese tipo, lol, ¿quién mierda espera visita del ex-novio de tu pareja? Nadie. En fin, el cortometraje sigue con una pequeña conversación entre los dos novios y Shawn se disculpa por venir y le dice que solo quería entregarle un regalo, la verdad es que fue bastante extraño, yo no aceptaría un regalo del ex-novio de mi pareja, nunca sabemos las intenciones (tendré razón).

El regalo luce bonito y grande, es una caja bastante amplia envuelta en papel de regalo, y junto con ella trae una carta. Esa carta el novio intenta leerla pero Shawn salta y dice "No la leas, abre la caja primero y luego la carta tendrá sentido). Shawn lucía extraño, yo mismo pude notar desesperación, nerviosismo, miedo, y culpa desde que lo ví. Tal vez no era su intención pero tampoco es justo que haya hecho eso. El novio dice, tienes razón y procede a abrir la caja, al abrirla increíblemente NO se ve nada hacia adentro, es literal una caja con un gran vacío adentro y aunque quisieras ver el fondo de la caja (como normalmente sucede), no podrás verlo.

Apenas el novio abrió la caja Shawn literalmente salió corriendo de la casa y fue muy extraño. Por cierto, Shawn preguntó por su ex-novia y el novio le dijo que no estaba (la chica no quería saber nada de Shawn). Shawn sintió algo de calma apenas escuchó que su ex no estaba en la casa. Retomando la historia luego sale la chica y le pregunta que fué lo que ocurrión, el novio está literalmente anonadado y empieza a buscar una linterna para poder ver el fondo, no hay, luego intenta buscar objetos para lanzarlos y ver si suena el fondo de la caja, consiguió un lápiz y lo lanzó. Allí yo sentí miedo de todo tipo, no entendía porque la caja no tiene fondo, que hay allí? El novio también intentó meter la mano pero la chica le dijo "NOOO!". Claramente era peligroso.

El cortometraje se pone aún más interesante cuándo ellos le dan la espalda a la caja, recordando la nota que venía con el regalo, decía "Nunca dejes de mirar la caja, lo que está ahí dentro sale cuándo no lo están mirando". Cuándo el novio leyó esa carta a mi me dió un infarto, dos paros cardíaco y 5 convulsiones. Dió mucho miedo y saber que llevaban rato sin ver la caja escuchan de repente que cayó algo al piso y sip, era el lápiz que lanzaron dentro de la caja. Voltearon y se consiguieron con algo asomado en el borde de la caja, debe demasiado miedo fuck.

El terror que produjo este film en mí es indescriptible, soy amante de lo terrorífico pero también me asusto hahaha. Ahora todo se complica mucho más y la pareja se preocupa, empiezan a llamar a Shawn, obviamente no responde el teléfono e hicieron una prueba, dijeron "dejémos de ver a la caja, solo para ver que sucede, tal vez es inofensivo..." Apenas ambos se dieron vuelta BOOM!, el tipo de la caja dice "Ben, nunca dejes de mirarme". (Acabo de recordar que el novio se llama Ben". Bueno, se voltearon y empezaron a deliverar que puta mierda hacer con esto.

Ben dice que lo mejor es salir a buscar al Shawn, pero es una locura la verdad. Primero porque la caja dijo "Ben, NUNCA DEJES DE MIRARME" Juro que lo dijo con una voz satánica haha. Al final Ben salió a buscar a Shawn, la chicha se quedó viendo la caja. Shawn por fin le contestó a Ben y resumiendo la llamada, Shawn se molestó mucho porque Ben dejó a la chicha sola en casa, sabiendo que el regaló fué para el y el que debía seguir viendo la caja era Ben, no su novia... Allí yo salté del miedo, y no porque había muchos sustos, sino que había demasiado suspenso y tensión en el ambiente, aparte que vi el cortometraje a oscuras y con buen volúmen.

Shawn le advierte a Ben que ni se le ocurra volver a la casa, Ben solo colgó el teléfono y condujo a toda velocidad, llegó a la casa y todo estaba apagado, salvo una luz de la cocina que justo daba hacia el sótano, Ben grita el nombre de su chica y ella increíblemente responde como si todo estuviese bien, Ben su asusta aún más al escuchar eso y no ver la caja por ningún lado, (en este momento estaba sudando del terror que había, literal estaba esperando un susto inmenso, no había casi ruido y sé que cuándo eso ocurre es porque vendrá un susto). Ben empieza a bajar las escaleras y se encontró con otra habitación abajo, en dónde ve al tipo de la caja allí parado, luego...

Joder, luego el le señala que mire hacia arriba, y justo en la entrada del sótano estaba un grupo como de 5 personas viéndolo fijamente, joder, que puto miedo. Luego uno de ellos sube el brazo y apagó el interruptor de la luz. Y fin. Así termino este grandioso cortometraja que si les soy sincero, me gustó bastante. Todo por su simplicidad y gran temática, nunca había escuchado de una historia así haha.
