RE: Donating life

Good stuff bro,

Donating blood is an act of compassion towards others, and you've always had a passion for doing this. Good to see you're still able to!

I agree those questions are really something.. The first one I think is to geared to see if anyone would come in to donate even if they aren't feeling well. Around these parts there are places that pay people to donate blood, and I know for certain that drug addicts will go no matter how they feel just to get some money. You would think they would turn away someone who's obviously strung out and full of drugs, but they usually don't. (it might be different there, idk standards vary from place to place and if profit is involved some doctors might turn a blind eye.)

The second question just seems like they want to question peoples motives lol. That's a real trusting thing to ask someone..
"Hey buddy, you just comin here to get some tests done?" .. Well what if someone wanted to donate blood and was thinking "cool I can get tested at the same time.".. what's really wrong with that anyway? A free HIV test for giving blood, doesn't sound like a bad thing to me. I would want a sugar cookie or something, let me get that free test too..
