Your happiness depends on your outlook on life

A few years back, I heard a story about a dog that only had three legs. This dog was not born in this condition. The dog got it because someone did it to him. When I heard the story, I really felt sorry for the dog because its condition was very difficult. Just imagine if you were used to having four legs and then all of a sudden someone did something bad that caused you to lose one of your legs. Maybe if I know how to read a dog's mind, I can tell that he is very angry with the person who did this to him. Maybe the dog almost gave up on life because he lost one of his legs.

However, it seems that the dog's reaction to his condition was different. When I saw the dog, it had no trace of resentment or anger at the world because of its situation. His leg wound healed and he lived a normal life. It seems that the dog accepted his new condition until he learned how to do what he used to do with only his 3 legs. Even though he has lost a leg, he still lives happily like a normal dog.

The tenacity of this dog is impressive. Because he is not shaken by the challenges of life. For the dog, life must continue, and accept his new situation. I think the dog still appreciates life even though fate has been cruel to him.

Why can't we react to life like this dog? If this is our perspective in life, maybe we can achieve contentment and satisfaction with what we have in life.

I think this is the secret of happy people in life.

When you learn to appreciate life even if life is not easy for you, you will achieve happiness. You will have a life full of love for yourself and your neighbor. You will have a good outlook on life because you are free of hatred towards those around you. When your perspective is like this, you can easily give meaning to your life and realize how good it is to live in the world.
