The ART Test

All primary school pupils in my local schools need to do an ART test fortnightly to ensure that they are in good health before they return school.

As teachers, we need to do our ART test every weekend before the start of the routine school week.

When any child or adult is in close contact with a Covid patient, one may be issued the Health Risk Warning(HRW) by the Ministry of Health.

After getting HRW, one ART test needs to be submitted to the link provided in the sms by MOH.

The HRW receiver can head to a nearby ART vendor machines to collect 6 free ART kit using their national ID.

Whenever there is need to go out, an ART test would need to be done. Each ART test will last for 24 hours to be valid for one to leave the house.

If the ART test is positive, the HRW receiver will need to isolate within a room and seek medical help if unwell since most locals have received vaccination against Covid so it may seems like a common flu with slight fever and sore throat.

There were quite a number of death cases for elderly daily as many of them did not take the vaccination due to their fear of side effects.

From quarantine to home isolation, it is a change of policy that many are still getting used to it.

My younger son had been infected by Covid-19 a few weeks ago and there were really lots of precautions to be taken with home isolation.

Constant cleaning using alcohol wipes at different areas and disinfect of places.

A Short Haiku to share a thought.

We adapt to change
We change and become stronger
Mental state of change
