Crypto Portfolio overview: November 2021

I did miss the update of October. Not that it was bad, not at all, but I was on a holiday and didn't find the energy after my holiday to write a decent one. But hey here is the November 2021 edition and it was a blast!

Let's first start with my main goal for 2021, which was to pull back all my money investment in the past years out of crypto without hurting my portfolio too much.

And this mission was completed successfully. In the past 11 months I did withdraw my initial investment out of Crypto, which does pass 5 figures in euro. So, now I am in the situation where I did dream of, I do have a portfolio which has some value and I am free riding the crypto train!

As you can see the Orange line did represent my fiat investment into crypto and is nicely below 0. The grey line is my profit/loss, which is the combination of the value of the portfolio and the money I did withdraw out of crypto. The blue line is the most simple one and is the value of my portfolio. And in the past 2 months this has doubled! So what a great month it was!

Portfolio share

And suddenly something happened, which I never imagined. More about that later.

Last month the top 3 was:

  • BTC: 25%
  • KCS: 15%
  • Hive: 12%

So, like always Bitcoin was the king of my portfolio, but it has been dethroned. It didn't even drop just to second place, but was passed by and Hive and KCS. I did expect that KCS would be capable to take the first spot, but the rise of Hive did come as a complete surprise to me.

The current top 3 is:

  • Hive: 29.9% (+18%)
  • KCS: 23.35% (+8.35%)
  • BTC: 18.51% (-6.5%)

It is not that I did sell BTC in the past month, the value of Hive just tripled in the past month, while KCS was capable of increasing 50%. But I am not counting myself rich, I do understand now that crypto has cycles. And it could crash hard. But my plan is to let it ride. I still have some stables on the side waiting on a moment to step it in.

December Goals

It is strange I would have thought that after running free on crypto my interest would decrease but the opposite is true! Crypto is really addictive.

While the pressure to withdraw fiat out of crypto has decreased a lot, I still have the dream to withdraw on average 500 euro per month out of it. Still the idea is also to keep growing the portfolio, this is a thin line to balance on. The idea is that I do live now and the ultimate idea of stepping into crypto is to make life a little bit easier. But also to have some kind of retirement funds.

This second goal has been renamed to Operation Andalusia. Would be great to be able to buy an apartment in the Southern of Spain with crypto.

I also will try to be more active on the crypto related social platforms, the place where I did start in crypto. The money earned from blogging will stay in crypto and will be used to strengthen my portfolio. I will try to focus on 3 or 4 coins this month. These are KCS, Hive, ETH and Betfury.

Cheers,Peter

I think many of us here can relate to that dream. Even though I like winter and snow, I would love to live in the spanish climate
