Travel by camionetic / Viajar en camionetica

For those of us who have always lived in a city, noise, people and chaos is something normal and everyday. In our Latin American cities it is also normal to break the rules, to live in a hurry, to want the workday to end, but it is also normal to be supportive, cheerful, to look for a joke for everything and to want the vacations to come.

Para los que siempre hemos vivido en una ciudad, el ruido, la gente y el caos es algo normal y cotidiano. En nuestras ciudades latinoamericanas es también normal infringir normas, vivir acelerados, querer que se acabe la jornada laboral, pero también es normal ser solidarios, alegres, buscar un chiste para todo y querer que lleguen las vacaciones.

The most used transportation by the people of Caracas is the public bus (here we call it camionetica), the subway which is a subway transportation, motorcycle, motorcycle cab and private car. In the camioneticas usually enter, depending on the area, peddlers offering you trinkets, others sing, others simply ask.

El transporte más usado por los caraqueños es el autobús público que acá lo llamamos camionetica, el metro que es un transporte subterráneo, Moto, moto taxi y carro particular. En las camioneticas suelen entrar según la zona vendedores ambulantes ofreciéndote chucherías, otros cantan, otros simplemente piden.
