¡Feliiiiiiz añoooo 2023 a mi segunda familia! ¡Bienvenidos a mi blog! Espero y hayan recibido este nuevo año con mucha alegría, con la presencia de cada uno de sus queridos. Este año deseo y puedas trazar nuevos propósitos y que sumado a ello, aquello que no alcanzaste a cumplir en el 2022, este sea el momento para que lo logres. Sin más que acotar, hoy quiero sumarme a la iniciativa desarrollada por el administrador de la comunidad, la cual, consiste en platicar sobre nuestra experiencia en la despedida del año 2022 y recibimiento de la nueva temporada, así que, espero y puedan disfrutar del post.

When it is time to say goodbye to the old year, we want to leave behind the negative things that may have left us that year and start a new life with those new learnings that were the product of such experiences. We project ourselves to achieve new goals for the following year, to change certain attitudes, to have better habits, to start exercising, to grow more spiritually and professionally, to learn a new language, to travel, to work more, we project ourselves and determine to achieve dreams that at times were not achieved due to certain circumstances, more family unity. So, yes, we are all full of good resolutions at the end of the year.

Cuando se trata de despedir el año viejo, queremos que aquello negativo que quizás nos dejó ese año quedé atrás y comenzar una nueva vida con esos nuevos aprendizajes que fueron producto de tales experiencias. Nos proyectamos a lograr nuevas metas para el siguiente año, a cambiar ciertas actitudes, tener mejores hábitos, empezar a ejercitar, crecer más espiritualmente y profesionalmente, aprender un nuevo idioma, viajar, trabajar más, más unión familiar, nos proyectamos y determinamos a lograr sueños que por momentos no fueron alcanzados por ciertas cirscuntancias. Así que, sí, todos estamos llenos de buenos propósitos en el fin de año.

Once we prepared the food which included; hallacas, salad, ham bread, soda, on the other hand the cake. We started to get ready for a little photo session, which is definitely my favorite part of the night, I enjoy it so much. While we were taking pictures, we listened to bagpipes to get us going. At about 10 pm, we started dinner, we thanked God for life, health, for all the good and bad things we went through in 2022 and also thanked for the food. Finally we continued taking pictures, while anxiously awaiting the new year 2023. I almost shed a few tears for my younger sister who could not spend it with us, however, the video call could not be missed. The year 2022 left me with many teachings that I thank God for living them since they have made me the person I am today.

Una vez que preparamos la comida que incluía; hallacas, ensalada, pan de jamón, refresco, por otro parte la torta. Empezamos a arreglarnos para llevar a cabo una pequeña sesión de fotos, que definitivamente esta es mi parte favorita de la noche, lo disfruto tanto. Mientras nos tomábamos las fotografías, escuchábamos gaitas y así activarnos. A eso de 10 de la noche, iniciamos la cena, agradecimos a Dios por la vida, salud, por todo lo bueno y malo que pasamos en el 2022 y asimismo agradecer por los alimentos. Finalmente continuamos tomando fotos, mientras esperábamos ansiosos el nuevo año 2023. Casi suelto unas lágrimas por mi hermana menor que no pudo pasarla con nosotros, sin embargo, la videollamada no pudo faltar. El 2022 me dejó muchas enseñanzas de las cuales doy gracias a Dios por vivirlas ya que me han hecho ser la persona que soy actualmente.
