How to start auto-voting on HIVE

I realize that a lot you are probably already doing this, but I'm assuming that there are plenty of (newer) account that are not doing it yet.

The reason for automatic upvotes is pretty obvious, consistently manually upvoting can be too time consuming. This way you can automatically support your favourite content creators and earn curation rewards.

For those of you who are interested in how to do this: I use hive.vote.

Step 1: authenticate with hivesigner

Step 2: Go to "fanbase"

Here you can control who you want to auto-upvote.

Step 3: add people to your fanbase

Simply type in a name and press follow.

Step 4: Change settings (optional)

Here you can change the weight of the vote, delays and limits.

I have been manually voting but I think I will switch to auto-vote because I don't want my vote to just sit there and not go anywhere when I don't have time to vote. I'll have to check out the variables though because I don't want to run down my VP and still want to be able to manually vote.

I use the same tool as you. Had you written this article about 6 weeks ago... lol So I am sure there are members that are going to get some great use from this article.

I liked how you took the time to break down the steps.

The only thing I would have added is Step 4 Change Settings are optional but most newer people will want to adjust their voting weight, depending on how many people they want to auto vote. Also by default, it will only vote 1 person 1 post per day, so if they are following people like I am that make multiple posts per day they will also want to change that as well. :-)
