A happy birthday to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the man who gained independence for Ghana. He is was Ghana's first president. Today is a holiday in Ghana, known as Founders' Day; to celebrate Nkrumah and all who helped to achieve independence for Ghana. Some people took to the streets to demonstrate against the rising cost of living. As usual here, the police was called to brutalise them. I was home all day though. Went to church in the evening. Have a great weekend ahead.
