I Am Alive Challenge : July 2 2022

It's the weekend. It's day time in Nyagbo Sroe. Went to charge my phone since the house I'm lodged at doesn't have light. It's not too far from me though. Went there with my friend who I came to visit. So far so good. The lack of power in the house hasn't downed my spirit too much. The air is clean and pure and I love that about the place. It's been cold so far, weather much better than Accra where I am. Network is available so nothing to worry about. The downside is, it's on a steep hill and so, it's very expensive getting there. This means that the few stores here add the increased transport fares to their wares so I have to pay more for stuff. Even though it's a village, cost of living is high. Some folks walk down hill to buy the things they need instead of buying it here but that's very tiresome. I can't see myself climbing this hill all alone, not to talk of carrying goods along. I will be too tired. Anyways, it's been a good experience. It was scary sitting on a motorcycle to climb the hill in the dead of the night but I thank God I am here now. Will be leaving tomorrow and I hope for same grace to get home safe and sound.
