Inquebrantable, una película que no puedes dejar de ver || Unbreakable, a movie you can't miss [Esp-Eng]

En estos días estuve aburrido por las noches y no tenía nada que hacer, así que decidí buscar algunas películas que ver y como se los mencioné en mi anterior post, me gusta mucho aquellas que relatan hechos de la vida real de la segunda guerra mundial, razón por la cual vi Inquebrantable, una película que me llamo bastante la atención y quería ver de qué se trataba. Esta película salió el 25 de diciembre de 2014 en los Estados Unidos, la misma fue dirigida por Angelina Jolie, la cual me sorprendió aún más y tenía un mayor interés en verla. Es importante mencionar que esta fue una adaptación del libro Invencible: Una Historia de Supervivencia, Valor y Resistencia Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y tuvo tanto éxito dentro de la industria que fue nominada algunos premios, siendo el más importante a la mejor fotografía en los premios de la academia, OSCAR.

These days I was bored in the evenings and I had nothing to do, so I decided to look for some movies to watch and as I mentioned in my previous post, I really like those that relate real life events of the second world war, which is why I saw Unbreakable, a movie that caught my attention and I wanted to see what it was about. This movie came out on December 25, 2014 in the United States, the same was directed by Angelina Jolie, which surprised me even more and I had a greater interest in watching it. It is important to mention that this was an adaptation of the book Invincible: A Story of Survival, Courage and Resistance During World War II and it was so successful within the industry that it was nominated for some awards, the most important being the best cinematography at the academy awards, OSCAR.

Esta historia nos cuenta la vida de un pequeño llamado Louie Zamperini, quien es hijo de inmigrantes italianos que se encuentran en los Estados Unidos, y tiempo de llegada no lo sé, pero lo más importante resaltar es que este chico era un poco rebelde y era muy querido en la población donde se encontraban él junto a su padres y hermano, ya que le gustaba hacer cosas malas. El motivo de la actitud de este chico tal vez se debía a que como estaban en un país que no era del origen de sus padres, eran mal tratados por los otros chicos o incluso por las personas, pero de esto no estoy seguro ya que no leí nunca el libre con la cual adaptaron esta película de la historia Real. Más adelante Louie empieza a practicar el atletismo y las competiciones de fondos, si mal no recuerdo su especialidad eran los 4 u 800 metros. Este chico tuvo un buen inicio como atleta, siendo el mejor colegiar de esos tiempos, su rendimiento fue tal que se clasifico a los juegos olímpicos, donde sorprendió al lograr un mejor puesto que el mejor deportista Estadounidense de la época.

This story tells us the life of a little boy named Louie Zamperini, who is the son of Italian immigrants who are in the United States, and time of arrival I do not know, but the most important thing to highlight is that this boy was a little rebellious and was very much loved in the town where he was with his parents and brother, because he liked to do bad things. The reason for this boy's attitude may have been due to the fact that since they were in a country that was not of their parents' origin, they were treated badly by the other kids or even by people, but I am not sure about this since I never read the book with which they adapted this movie from the true story. Later on Louie starts to practice athletics and long distance competitions, if I remember correctly his specialty was the 4 or 800 meters. This boy had a good start as an athlete, being the best schoolboy of those times, his performance was such that he qualified for the Olympics, where he surprised by achieving a better position than the best American athlete of the time.

Con el inicio de la segunda guerra mundial Louie Zamperini se enlistó en el ejercito de los estados unidos, específicamente en la aviación, donde en una misión su avión fue derribado en la cual tan solo sobrevivieron él y dos compañeros más, que debieron sobrevivir durante un tiempo en el mar, comiendo peses y parajes sin cocinar, además que no tenían nada de agua. Al tiempo uno de sus compañeros murió y luego nuestro protagonista fue atrapados por los japoneses, quienes eran el enemigo número uno de la nación norteamericana. Pero bueno no les voy a contar más para ya que si la no la han visto lo hagan y nos cuenten su experiencia. Lo que me gusto realmente de esta película fue la historia y como se fue desarrollando la misma, saber por todo lo que paso el protagonista durante mucho tiempo y aun así logró mantenerse, sobrevivir a todo lo que paso, algo que me pareció muy conmovedor y admirable de ver.¿Por qué me gustan esta clase de películas con historia de la segunda mundial? pues debido a que así conocemos la vida de hombres que sacrificaron mucho por el amor y respecto que le debían a su país, pero lo más importante es nunca se rindieron y dieron el todo por su nación.

With the beginning of the Second World War Louie Zamperini enlisted in the United States Army, specifically in aviation, where in a mission his plane was shot down in which only he and two other companions survived, who had to survive for a while at sea, eating fish and uncooked places, plus they had no water. In time one of his companions died and then our protagonist was caught by the Japanese, who were the number one enemy of the American nation. But I'm not going to tell you more so that if you haven't seen it, you can do it and tell us your experience. What I really liked about this movie was the story and how it developed, knowing what the main character went through for a long time and still managed to stay alive, surviving everything that happened, something that I found very touching and admirable to see. Why do I like this kind of movies with history of World War II? Because we know the lives of men who sacrificed a lot for the love and respect they owed to their country, but most importantly, they never gave up and gave everything for their nation.

Jack O’Connell fue el que interpretó a Louie Zamperini y lo hizo desde mi opinión bastante bien, tanto en los momentos de felicidad y en los momentos de sufrimiento que fueron muchos, ya que como les comenté anteriormente este (Louie) paso por mucho y cuando pensaba que las cosas iban a mejorar estas volvían como el inicio o peor, pero aun así se mantuvo firme un nunca se rindió, aspecto que el actor me pudo transmitir muy bien, así que quede encantado con la historia. Ahora bien no todo es color de rosa, pues si les debo decir que aparte del mensaje que nos da la película y todo lo que paso nuestro prota, también les debo decir que en un punto la película se me hizo muy tediosa, tal vez un poco lento para mi gusto, tal vez las cosas se debieron mostrar más rápidas o cortar algunos escenas sin importancia.

Jack O'Connell was the one who played Louie Zamperini and he did it from my opinion quite well, both in moments of happiness and in moments of suffering that were many, because as I said before this (Louie) went through a lot and when I thought things were going to get better these returned as the beginning or worse, but still stood firm and never gave up, aspect that the actor was able to convey very well, so I was delighted with the story. However, not everything is rosy, because I must tell you that apart from the message that the movie gives us and everything that happened to our protagonist, I must also tell you that at one point the movie became very tedious, maybe a little slow for my taste, maybe things should have been shown faster or cut some unimportant scenes.

No soy un experto para hacer una excelente revisión de una película o serie de TV, es decir, no puedo dar una crítica como profesional, pero les puedo concluir que Inquebrantable es una buena película que al menos nos da el mensaje que nunca debemos rendirnos con las adversidades que se nos presente en el camino y más viendo con todo lo que paso Louie Zamperini y aun así pudo mantenerse con la fe intacta que le vio a su madre desde que tan solo era un chico. Lo que más me sorprendió y gustó entre todas las cosas que le paso a Zamperini fue el momento cuando le pidió a dios que si sobrevivía y los llegan a encontrar cuando están en el mar le iba a dedicar su vida para servirle a él, donde luego empezó a llover y en ese momento pensé que lo encontrarían y todo terminaría como en la mayoría de las películas, pero esto no fue así y vinieron cosas peores por la cual el soldado y atleta olímpico tuvo que pasar.

I am not an expert to make an excellent review of a movie or TV series, that is, I can not give a review as a professional, but I can conclude that Unbreakable is a good movie that at least gives us the message that we should never give up with the adversities that come our way and more seeing everything that Louie Zamperini went through and yet he could keep the faith intact that he saw his mother since he was just a boy. What surprised and pleased me the most among all the things that happened to Zamperini was the moment when he asked God that if he survived and they found them when they were at sea he would dedicate his life to serve him, where then it started to rain and at that moment I thought they would find him and everything would end like in most movies, but it was not like that and worse things came and the soldier and Olympic athlete had to go through.

Inquebrantable es una película que si les gusta el género les puede llegar a atraer, al menos al ver todo lo que pasa el protagonista y aun así nunca se rinde, tanto así que incluso es admirado por sus compañeros prisioneros. El mensaje que nos da es genial, pero el hecho de que la historia es muy larga desde mi opinión y al ver muchos escenas que son muy parecidas una de las otras, puede ocasionar la pérdida del interés o la conexión con la película, lo comento porque eso me paso en algunos momentos del film. A pesar de esto último expuesto la película me gusto, tal vez no sea perfecta ni muchos menos, pero lo importante es que el mensaje que da me llegó con la actuaciones del reparto, al menos la de Jack O’Connell que si tuvo una buena interpretación y logré conectar con él en los mejores momentos de la serie. Ahora bien no sé si recomendarla por algunas aspectos expuesto en el post como que en algún momento nos podemos aburrir, ya la decisión la tomaran ustedes de acuerdo de lo leía acá. Esta es mi opinión personal, me gusta ver películas en ocasiones pero no soy un experto ni nada, mis revisiones son con las experiencia y lo que entiendo de ellas (lo poco que a veces lo hago, soy bastante malo), y la razón de comentarles esto, es que tal vez esté equivocado.

Unbreakable is a movie that if you like the genre can attract you, at least to see everything that the protagonist goes through and yet he never gives up, so much so that he is even admired by his fellow prisoners. The message it gives us is great, but the fact that the story is very long in my opinion and seeing many scenes that are very similar to each other, can cause the loss of interest or connection with the film, I comment because that happened to me in some moments of the film. Despite the latter, I liked the movie, it may not be perfect, but the important thing is that the message it gives me reached me with the performances of the cast, at least that of Jack O'Connell, who had a good performance and I managed to connect with him in the best moments of the series. Now I don't know if I recommend it because of some aspects exposed in the post like that at some point we can get bored, and the decision is up to you according to what I read here. This is my personal opinion, I like to watch movies sometimes but I'm not an expert or anything, my reviews are from experience and what I understand about them (the little I sometimes do, I'm pretty bad), and the reason to tell you this, is that maybe I'm wrong.
