"DESTRUCTIVE HABITS"

Hello dear friends, I hope you are very well, I think we all know that motivation is fleeting and after it only remains the discipline and perseverance when we want to achieve a goal or objective. Just as there are actions that bring us closer to that path, there are others that simply take us away and make us decay, isolate us and lose focus or the way.

It is about these destructive habits that I want to talk to you today, it is necessary to know them to know how to distinguish them when we fall into them.

Many times things don't go as planned, that happens almost always the truth, In my case I like to have things under control and it stresses me out to not be able to predict what will happen or to know if I will do my best or my worst, but unfortunately we can't do any of that, we can only make a plan B in case plan A fails. Being perfectionists only shows us that we are afraid of doing things wrong and that we lack a bit of SELF CONFIDENCE.

Comparing ourselves with other people is another bad habit that sometimes we tend to do, we are all different and we all have STRENGTHS, and that is what we should focus on, comparing ourselves only makes us more insecure, weaker emotionally and distracts us from our focus.

A good exercise is to always keep in mind who we are and what we are capable of doing, see how much we have achieved and write it down, having our abilities present makes us stronger and more confident.

PROCRASTINATE is another bad habit, in my case little by little I have been freeing myself from it, sometimes I used to just let time pass and leave everything for later, I simply wasted my time in things that did not leave me a great benefit, that did not bring me closer to my goals.

Many people prefer to WORK in something they don't enjoy, it's sad, but sometimes they stay with the safe thing just for fear of failure or what people will say, pursue your dreams no matter if it's the strangest thing in the world, as long as you like it and it makes you feel free and excited there's nothing more to say. Let's not let others manage our life and even worse our dreams.

DOING MANY THINGS AT THE SAME TIME, our mind must be healthy and focused on one thing at a time, we are not robots or machines, we can not do everything at the same time and we should not feel frustrated if we must allow ourselves a break.

TO FORGET ABOUT OURSELVES, it is important to dedicate some time every day, not everything can be work and obligations, leisure time, distraction or affection are also necessary to have a full life full of emotions. DISTRACTIONS at the time of work are bad friends, we must create suitable spaces to work on our goals without being harassed by our distractors such as, for example, the telephone or television.

We must be clear about what is not good for us, what benefits us and what does not, we cannot control everything, but we can create spaces that allow us to achieve our goals or at least help us to do so. Do not self-sabotage, if we want to create new changes always keep our eyes to the front, the past and was, only we are owners of the present and the future.
