Me dio permiso / What is she like (Esp- Eng)

Hablé con ella y le pedí permiso
para soñarle despierto,
porque dormido ya lo hacía.

Hizo un largo silencio
que enfrío mis huesos
y puso a temblar mi alma,
hasta que respondió.

— Suéñame y me lo cuentas
susúrralo para que llegue
a mis oídos.

Emocionado me fui a bailar
con la vida,
a cantar con el universo,
a vibrar con la naturaleza.

Sin notarlo estaba dormido
y apareció ella:
elegante, sonriente, plena.

Su permiso es el elixir,
nube que dibujada
en el cielo
adorna y resplandece.

Cada noche, soñarla, se volvió una aventura,
escritura cobijada con la sombra
que hacemos realidad en la cama.

He gave me permission

I talked to her and asked her permission
to dream him awake,
because he was already doing it in his sleep.

She made a long silence
that chilled my bones
and made my soul tremble,
until he answered.

  • Whisper it to me and tell me
whisper it so that it will reach
    to my ears.

Excited I went to dance
with life,
to sing with the universe,
to vibrate with nature.

Without noticing I was asleep
and she appeared:
elegant, smiling, full.

Her permission is the elixir,
cloud that drawn
in the sky
adorns and shines.

Every night, dreaming of her became an adventure,
writing sheltered by the shadow
that we make real in bed.

Very beautiful poem. Each person would understand it differently, for me it seemed to be about destiny or love. We dream what we desire in the future.
Thank you for sharing your art.

As you say, each one will interpret it differently and that is where the true magic of artistic enjoyment lies: recreating what they give us in letters.

I am honored that these humble letters have been to your liking and I thank you for your support by stopping to comment!
