Memoir Monday #48 Pleasures that make me happy

There are things that are sacred and their well-being brings us great happiness. In that case is the well-being of our daughters and sons, mothers and fathers, family members and friends. All of that is true and they have no discussion on my list of priorities.

But, trying to be consistent with @ericvancewalton's proposal for this Monday edition of memoirs, I will talk about those simple things that give me pleasure and happiness.

Dress well

One of the goals I have always had is to dress well and look my best in the eyes of others, especially girls. When we are in adolescence, this passion for being the strongest and impressing young girls begins. In my case it has remained the same and when I get dressed I like to look good.

I don't think I'm a narcissist to the extreme, although I have some of that. And, it's not that I consider myself a beautiful man, but, when I dress, I like to show off a lot.

Do physical exercises

This is one of my passions and my vices in life. I cannot conceive my life without doing physical exercises or dedicating at least 45 minutes to doing this type of activity.

This started out as a necessity, to avoid teasing from the older ones at school, and has become a necessity. And, I must say that thanks to this practice I have been able to guarantee solving a health problem that I had when I was a child.

go fishing

This is another of my passions. It must be due to the fact that I have lived very close to the beach and that, sometimes, when I was stressed, depressed or bored, I would grab a fishing rod and go somewhere to kill those enemies of the soul.

Furthermore, fishing has brought me many joys and, on several occasions, when there was no plate of food on my family's table, fishing provided me with the solution to that problem.

These are three of the simple pleasures that make me very happy.
