The Long Coast.

I explored the Long Coast relic ruins on foot, using an energy cell to power an elevator. After using firegleam to secure a puzzle box, I attempted to scale the elevator shaft. Becoming completely stuck near the top, I eventually bypassed the wall with a sideways jump to escape on my Sunwing.

During my exploration around the map while flying my Sunwing, I noticed a set of ancient relic ruins from the old world known as the Long Coast. I decided to drop down and check the abandoned structure for any valuables or hidden ornaments.

I could have easily skipped the lower obstacles by jumping directly onto the top of the facility using the help of my Sunwing, but I decided to tackle the puzzle manually. I leaped off my mount's back, caught a handhold, and started climbing up the exterior walls.

I successfully entered the main facility through a broken section and discovered some kind of ancient device that desperately needed a power source to function.

Before inspecting the device closely, I noticed a glowing energy cell sitting in a charging station along the way. I walked over to the terminal, pulled out the heavy energy cell, and carried it back to insert it cleanly into the dead device to restore its power.

It looked like my actions successfully activated an elevator, providing a mechanism that I could use to get to the floor directly above, which was otherwise inaccessible by standard manual climbing.

Once on the upper level, I noticed an unstable patch of firegleam growing on a distant wall, but I could not find a direct path to reach that side of the room. I was forced to execute some risky aerial jumps across the gaps to close the distance.

After successfully landing on the far ledge, I ignited and blew up the firegleam patch, an explosion that effectively destroyed a crumbling wall. With the barrier cleared, I was able to reach and drag a large metal box out of the hidden alcove and position it straight into the elevator.

After rolling the box inside the elevator cage, I climbed onto it to gain extra height, allowing me to scramble through a hole leading directly into the upper elevator shaft. I searched the immediate interior framework, but I failed to find anything worth checking.

Aloy mentioned to herself that we really needed to reach the absolute top of this place, and I mistakenly assumed that forcing my way further up the elevator shaft was the only viable path. I tried my hardest to find a grapple point or handhold while the sun slowly started rising outside.

After wasting a significant amount of time on numerous failed attempts, I finally abandoned the manual climb and called my Sunwing to utilize its flight capabilities to lift me directly to the roof of the structure.

It quickly became apparent that using the mount was not the best choice I could make, because I managed to get completely stuck inside a tight glitch spot in the architecture. I could see my Sunwing flying around calmly outside, but I was entirely unable to find a way to squeeze out of the tight space, even though a visible hole was right next to me.

Just when I started believing I was stuck in the geometry forever and might be forced to restart the game completely, I noticed that the controls would allow me to execute a sideways jump. After breaking free with the maneuver, I immediately called my Sunwing back to my side, mounted up, and happily left that troublesome place behind.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
SEE YOU.
