Looking out over the sea
An old popular adage says that the sea carries away everything bad. And I don't know if that's true, but a visit to a nearby beach left me quite relaxed, unburdened, and quite light on my feet. We all have problems and I accept mine, as much as I accept the good times. I am one of those who say that everything, good or bad, happens at some point, nothing is forever. That's why I don't despair when I'm going through a bad season.
I cannot say that I am going through a bad patch. I thank God for everything because I know that everything that happens in my life helps me for the better and that thought comforts me. That's why, when my friends invited me to enjoy a dip, I couldn't do anything but accept having a different day. And then, gray days like the past were illuminated by a turquoise blue that made me dream of the infinity of the sea.
I confess that I was lost in the abyssal immensity. I would discover myself dreaming of the waves, enjoying a reef, or contemplating how perfect nature is the incredible creation. From one moment to the next, I found myself pondering how fortunate I was at that moment to be surrounded by wonderful people in my life who love me just the way I am and who are happy by my side. I realized that this is the best encouragement of all.
