La fotografía de aves es una de las cosas que en lo que a mí respecta, ha sido de las cosas más difíciles de dominar en cuanto al manejo de la cámara y la estabilización, a veces las capto, y si parpadeo o enfoco mal, la luz roja del enfoque los espanta, o se van muy rápido.

Bird photography is one of the things that as far as I'm concerned, has been one of the hardest things to master in terms of camera handling and stabilization, sometimes I catch them, and if I blink or focus wrong, the red focus light scares them away, or they go too fast.

Un vistazo a lo intocable llega de todos esos momentos en los que no pude capturar estas bellezas y exponerlas al mundo, o a quien me siga, llega de todas veces en las que capturé muy tarde y ya se habían ido, o en esas veces en las que no capturé la imagen por estar en silencio observando tan hermoso y reluciente animal. Un vistazo a lo intocable llega para darle una pequeña muestra y una sensación a eso que veríamos a diario si observamos con más cautela nuestro alrededor.

Factores a tener en cuenta para la fotografía de aves o animales en general; flash, enfoque con luz, cercanía, el sonido del obturador, el lente muy largo. Mi cámara es semiprofesional, y logré esta belleza, no me imagino una cámara profesional, con un buen trípode. Esto fue hace un par de días alrededor de las 8 am, había buen clima, había una buena iluminación, y a esta hora en el parque vereda del algo, que fue el lugar donde capturé estas imágenes, pues hay muchísimas aves y especies conviviendo juntas, se escucha el cato estruendoso de las aves.

My camera is semi-professional, and I achieved this beauty, I can't imagine a professional camera, with a good tripod. Estas las capturé a una buena distancia pero me costó tuve que agarrar la cámara con mucha fuerza para que hoy las estemos viendo, se movían demasiado, era una cosa increíble, y eran muy hermosos, y chiquitos, no cabrían en la palma de mi mano.

Con estas si me gané un premio interno, mi yo fotógrafo pegó pequeños griticos de satisfacción porque para mí fueron unas fotografías demasiado difíciles de capturar . La lechuza por ser más grande y yo por estar más cerca, lo tenía nervioso, volteaba miraba para todos lados y gritaba, creo que estaría desorientado, generalmente veo lechuzas de noche, nunca tan de día y menos en plena carretera, creo que estaría buscando algo. Y además de que es mi animal favorito, yo también estaba nervioso y emocionada por capturar esta belleza. Estaba agachada y tratando de esconderme entre dos arboles que estaban cerca de la lechuza.

With these I did win an internal prize, my photographer self gave a little squeal of satisfaction because for me they were too difficult to capture. The owl being bigger and me being closer, he was nervous, he turned around, looked everywhere and screamed, I think he was disoriented, I usually see owls at night, never so much during the day and even less in the middle of the road, I think he was looking for something. And besides the fact that it is my favorite animal, I was also nervous and excited to capture this beauty. I was crouching down and trying to hide between two trees that were close to the owl.
