Hello everyone im trying to work on my hive power so im participating in the Weekly Battle Challenge for Splinterlands and submitting for your approval Lord Arianthus.

Honestly I never looked at this cards lore no matter how often I use it, and I must say its superb, I love that he is a head in a jar from space! Amazing indeed!!


SUMMONER--My summoner was Bortus, my decision to use him was in hopes to neutralize magic attacks, he gives -1 magic attack to enemy and Lord Arianthus has void even at level 1 so Lord Arianthus will negate magic damage from cards with 2 base magic attack with Bortus.

FIRST POSITION-- The star of the show, flying in or crashlanding from Space, the man, the alien, the head, Lord Arianthus!! This guy can be your best friend or your worst enemy. The reason I bought this old Legendary reward card that was out of print long before I started playing, at an obscene price much higher than todays price: Because this card made me lose more times than any other card in the game when played against be beside yodin or llama/kron. and this card is still extremely useful even at level 1, even in the Gold league where I use him effectively today. He is just incredibly effective in reducing damage from all sources (melee, ranged, and magic by 1).

SECOND POSITION--This guy is my only real hope at winning technically hes my only damage dealer in the fight! pretty risky. He has opportunity so will start at weakest enemies and move up usually losing 1 or 2 rounds taking out enemy chickens or ooze or new legendary 0 mana cards if people have them before moving onto dps or tanks.

THIRD POSITION-- This guy's purpose is to slow the enemy and be a meat shield to protect from sneak monsters on ememy team for 1 round, as you can see by watching the replay, had i placed this monster in front of Pelacor Bandit, in the second position, I would have lost the battle. Placement is crutial in splinterlands, part of it is strategy, part of it is opponent anticipation based on previous decks played, and part of it is pure luck. Thats what makes Splinterlands so interesting for me.
