RE: Leo Is A Sustainable Investment and Here’s What It Needs To Flourish

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

as with the burning of Leo, it doesn't seem like that will be the case as the value will be distributed to the stakeholders following the recent conversations I've seen.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they're talking about distributing to stakeholders and not just straight buying back/burning.

That model is currently working on CUB and ad money is arguably a much more sustainable revenue than bridge fees.

I don't get why they wouldn't just clone the same model here on the social side.

Maybe I'm wrong though, wouldn't be the first time ;)

Takes me way back to the content you were handling with the crypto guides account, that is something that should have really been pushed to new levels.

I just got overwhelmed with the work because the writers I had contributing wouldn't follow templates and editing became too much.

Then what little rewards I had to pay writers were being nuked by the Hive elite when the templates would be downvoted to zero.

Just a clusterfuck in the end.

But as I keep saying, these problems are fixed by driving ad revenue back into the LEO token.

Then everyone is financially incentivised to focus on SEO because it drives the most traffic.

It all comes back to that...

I have a feeling that just knowing the raw figures won't get users interested in writing more, and hive just being too stiff with certain contents could also kill the idea.

You have to consider if users are getting rewarded for these things, if you look at the earning curve of the platform, it doesn't seem too friendly with all content types and these writers need a reason to keep writing regardless, this was the reason for my idea of distributing a portion of the revenue to those driving in the most traffic, with this people could really just ignore whether or not they are earning or if the base layer peeps find their content type pleasing and focus more on what matters which is writing evergreen content.
