The Saddest Street Mascletà of Fallas 2022 - Mercado Ruzafa

This was the saddest and most frustrating street Mascletà we've seen this Fallas 2022 at the Mercado Ruzafa. The poor pyrotechnicians, you can see them getting frustrated, running to re-kindle the fuse. Then firecrackers falling on the ground and not exploding because of the wet streets and a huge a chunk of them not getting triggered at all.

It was raining super hard right when Mascletà started, the sound of the video was off because the microphone port of my phone was drenched (I didn't dare to film it with my heavy equipment) from the rain.

And here is a note to everyone taking umbrellas to an event like this, please be aware that someone who is just wearing a rainproof jacket will get all the rain dripping from your umbrella onto their head when standing next to you. Also in crowded spaces like this, you easily can poke someone's eye out with your rain protection. And please, please, please - the moment the rain stops fold up your umbrella. Next time, just leave your umbrella at home and wear water proof cloths, you're doing yourself and everyone else a favor.

Anyways, this Mascletà could have been spectacular!
