Day Trip to Cullera from Valencia by train. Hill Hike, Views and Crescent Beaches

avatar

In the 12 years we lived in Valencia we've only went to Cullera once, just to go the beach but we decided to go back in off season for a hike. To get there without car was super easy - we took the train. Right at the station, the hike started, climbing the main hill separating parts of the town from the sea.

Once we arrived on top of the hill we got amazing views of the build-up city and the beaches. Which is in its own way beautiful but at the same time very strange. Where were we, Spain or Rio de Janeiro?

Back on sea level we visited the lighthouse and then found a small place for lunch before we took the train back to Valencia. It was a perfect day out!

Another day trip you can do from Valencia by train.

This video was recorded with this small gimbal camera.
