I am happy to introduce myself.

Hello Hive Communities my name is Marmita and for the community (@Food-Booster)

Who am I ?

I am a great traveler, I love to write, share cultures and traditions. But I have 3 dominant passions

  • Gastronomy: Food + Cultures + Tradition
  • Travel: Discover (Culture + Tradition + Nature + ...)
  • Crypto decentralization

Passion "FOOD" + "Passion" TRAVEL "

  • I am a biochemist and I noticed during many international conferences that the most important meetings and decisions took place around meals.
    So during my professional (and no professional) travels I learned to discover peoples, their different cultures and Traditions, which fascinated me and attracted me to Gastronomy
    (here is brief definition via Wikipedia)

Gastronomy is the study of the relationship between food and culture, the art of preparing and serving rich or delicate and appetizing food, the cooking styles of particular regions, and the science of good eating.

More and more passionate, I specialized in molecular gastronomy (physical and chemical transformations that occur during cooking).

In my future posts I will explain you why I love food and why you should too. Just to sum it up:

Food is a very powerful social integrator and it easily removes certain inhibiting barriers in first contact and socio-professional relationships

Since my adolescence (and until now), I have not stopped traveling during school and university vacations (at the beginning as a student, now as a research professor).
It was through these first trips that my passion developed. If I reset more than three months without traveling, it's like I was imprisoned.

Passion: Hive and Why I love HIVE?

Regarding the decentralized payment system, very young, I quickly integrated a community of people who help each other socially and who do not always use the money to pay, we used a points system (LETS (Local Exchange Trading Systems)). The cryptocurrency system copies this model but in a more technological way.

Hive is an example of these systems but which in addition uses a communication system (blog + video + ...).

For examples : In my posts, I could make remarks relating to

  • @ecency especially on its very ingenious points system.
    According to my experience, this system can be even more dynamically managed and allow everyone to have more advantages.
  • In addition, the token system is admirably managed via hive-engine, and @leofinance copies the rewards and delegations of hive.
    This parallel to hive system is very promising and on this point I could also exchange some ideas (especially for some of them which have low fluctuations and evolutions).

My possible contributions

  • Today in pre-retirement, I want to share my knowledge and learn through the many dishes, recipes, cultures and traditions presented in this community.

I will sometimes give some dietary advice and share some ideas (this might interest @NaturalMedicine)

  • For travel, I have some suggestions that I could share with some of you. (How to travel cheaply or why not for free)

  • Regarding economic and financial ideas I will post some suggestions on @leofinance

It is with pleasure to discover this community and with passion that I read some of your publications
