Today is Monday, Monday to get up early because you have to go shopping for vegetables, it's like a tradition in my family, so when I got home again and with the sun in the sky, I realized that at the entrance of my brother's house (he lives on the top floor of my house), had begun to bloom a Yellow Mirasol plant that just over a month ago my sister-in-law asked me what plant it was, because it was invading the space where she has planted the desert rose. At the time I just told her to let it be, that when it bloomed I would love it as much as the desert rose.
Certainly this one started to bloom a couple of days ago and upon seeing that small but beautiful flower at the door of her house, she immediately sent me a photograph and a voice note, telling me that she was in love with that plant that grew there without being planted, and it is that we certainly never planted it there, because, the Cosmos Sulphureus as it is scientifically called yellow mirasol, is a kind of plant considered a weed and that usually birds carry its seeds, and this may have been what happened with this beauty.
A couple of days ago I barely had a single flower, so I was not interested in photographing it, however, today when I saw that I had a few of them already open, I almost immediately went to take pictures, also taking advantage of the fact that the sun was just rising. A particularity that these flowers have and why they receive their name of mirasol, is that like the sunflower, once the sun goes down they go to sleep, it is really something very beautiful to my way of seeing.
Take some macro photographs (or at least try to) because the truth is that the landscape behind the flowers is not something very nice to say, this is a fairly simple flower so to speak, but that does not make them cease to be beautiful, on the contrary, in its simplicity is the beautiful thing it has. This species of flowers can also be found in colors, orange, purple and red.
Last week when we went to visit a client I was surprised how he had the garden full of these flowers, in shades of orange and yellow, quite a show, the truth is that I was a little embarrassed to put me to take pictures of him at that time, most likely he would wonder, What kind of crazy is this? Hahaha.
In some countries this plant is considered invasive, and as I mentioned, it practically appeared out of nowhere, as it was never planted by any of us. It is impressive how these flowers at 6:00 pm, and that the sun begins to set just fall asleep.
The truth is that not much editing was needed ara these photographs, because by applying more effects you lose the essence of it, just highlight a little structure and sharpness, and highlight just the cold tones, a little blur in some images, as the background of the photograph was not something pleasing to the eye, I think I could have played a little with selective color, but maybe I will do it later just for my collection, otherwise, I hope you like these photographs as much as I do.

Hoy es lunes, lunes de madrugar porque hay que ir a comprar verduras, ya es como una tradición en mi familia, así que al llegar nuevamente a casa y ya con el sol en el cielo, me pude dar cuenta que en la entrada de la casa de mi hermano (vive en el piso de arriba de mi casa), había comenzado a florecer una planta de Mirasol Amarillo que hace poco más de un mes mi cuñada me pregunto qué planta era, pues estaba invadiendo el espacio donde tiene plantada la rosa del desierto. En su momento solo le dije que la dejara ser, que cuando floreciera la amaría tanto como a la rosa del desierto.
Ciertamente esta comenzó a florecer hace un par de días y al ver esa pequeña pero hermosa flor en la puerta de su casa, de inmediato me envió una fotografía y una nota de voz, diciéndome que estaba enamorada de aquella planta que creció allí sin ser plantada, y es que ciertamente nunca la plantamos allí, pues, las Cosmos Sulphureus como es llamada científicamente mirasol amarilla, es una especie de planta considerada maleza y que por lo general las aves transportan sus semillas, y puede que esto haya sido lo que sucedió con esta hermosura.
Hace un par de días apenas tenía una sola flor, por lo que no me interese en fotografiarla, sin embargo, hoy al ver que tenía unas cuantas de ellas ya abiertas, casi de inmediato me fui a tomar fotografías, aprovechando también que el sol apenas estaba saliendo. Una particularidad que tienen estas flores y por lo cual reciben su nombre de mirasol, es que al igual que el girasol, una vez el sol se oculta estas se duermen, es realmente algo muy hermoso a mi manera de ver.
Tome algunas fotografías macro (o al menos eso intente) pues la verdad es que el paisaje detrás de las flores no es algo muy bonito que digamos, esta es una flor bastante simple por así decirlo, pero eso no hace que dejen de ser hermosas, por el contrario, en su sencillez esta lo hermoso que posee. Esta especie de flores también la podemos encontrar en colores, naranja, violeta y rojo.
La semana pasada cuando fuimos a visitar a un cliente me sorprendió como tenía el jardín lleno de estas flores, en tonos naranja y amarillo, todo un espectáculo, la verdad es que me dio algo de pena ponerme a tomarle fotografías en ese momento, lo más probable es que se preguntaría, ¿Qué clase de loca es esta? Jajaja.
En algunos países esta planta es catalogada invasiva, y es que, como ya les mencioné, prácticamente apareció de la nada, pues nunca fue plantada por ninguno de nosotros. Es impresionante como estas flores al dar las 6:00 pm, y que ya el sol comienza a ocultarse simplemente se duermen.
La verdad es que no se necesitó de mucha edición ara estas fotografías, pues al aplicarle más efectos se pierde la esencia de la misma, solo resalte un poco la estructura y nitidez, y resalte apenas los tonos fríos, un poco de desenfoque en algunas imágenes, pues el fondo de la fotografía no era algo agradable a la vista, creo que pude haber jugado un poco con el color selectivo, pero tal vez lo haga luego solo para mi colección, por lo demás, espero que les gusten estas fotografías tanto como a mí.
