Estamos diciendo presente en una nueva iniciativa de la historia de la semana realizada por la comunidad de HiveNftgamela. Me gustaría contarles una breve historia del personaje de esta semana Mr. Dependable.

Hace algunas semanas les compartí la historia de uno de los personajes menos favoritos de la comunidad. Pero, que sigue siendo parte de la familia, por más despreciable que pueda ser. Les hablo de The Ego, la historia que les compartí fue sobre como llegó a ser lo que es en la actualidad. Pero, lo que no les comenté fue sobre su hermano menor Bruno.

Bruno al ser el menor sufrió muchos abusos de su hermano mayor. Desde muy pequeño, The Ego al no tener un rumbo claro competía mucho con su pequeño hermano en las cosas que a él le gustaban. Por ejemplo, Bruno jugaba con su monopatín y hacía algunos saltos. Entonces, The Ego tenía que hacer mejores saltos y acaparaba la atención por completo de esas actividades y si no podía con la actividad, el juego, las artes, los deportes… de alguna manera se encargaba de destruir eso para su hermano Bruno.

Así que, desde muy pequeño Bruno tenía las cosas muy difíciles. Se volvió muy tímido y por supuesto que dejó de compartir sus intereses con su familia y amigos. Era muy solitario y su hermano dejó de encontrar cosas interesantes en su hermanito. Empezó a buscar los intereses de sus “amigos”.

Ya en la adolescencia, cuando The Ego estaba empezando a formar su banda de música. En ese momento, Bruno empezó a ser libre. Porque, ya no sentía el peso de la sombra de su hermano en su espalda. Pero, las heridas ya estaban hechas y tenía tanto tiempo así, que le sería muy difícil encontrar su propio camino.

Trató de revivir algunas viejas pasiones. Pero, ya no le resultaban atractivas. Estaba en un proceso de cambio. Pero, con todo lo que procesaba internamente. Se daba cuenta de que definitivamente no quería ser como su hermano. No quería ser una persona que solo pensara en sí mismo.

Bruno, tuvo la dicha de recibir en casa a los amigos de banda de The Ego. Al principio, pensaba que eran iguales a su hermano. Pero, resultó todo lo contrario, eran muy carismáticos y amigables y pensaban en el futuro como banda. Querían sentirse así toda la vida y querían estar juntos y rogaban que The Ego fuese mejor en un futuro.

Mientras esperaban que llegara The Ego, todo era muy ameno, tocaban los instrumentos, hacían algún coro de alguna canción famosa y nuestro querido Bruno estaba ahí divirtiéndose con ellos y riendo como no lo había hecho con otras amistades en mucho tiempo. Luego llegó, The Ego y el ambiente cambió un poco Bruno sabía que debía retirarse para no tener problemas más tarde con su hermano.

Pero, mientras se retiraba. Tim, uno de los amigos de The Ego decía, que ya había contratado esta vez un vehículo grande para poder ir practicando mientras se dirigían al evento donde tocarían.

Bruno, se entusiasmó tanto con ese compartir con la banda de The Ego, que deseó que se reunieran más en su casa y estar con ellos. Poder entablar una gran amistad con estos muchachos. No, solo eso. se dio cuenta de la necesidad de la banda de necesitar un transporte acorde donde practicar y llegar a cada evento y de seguro ir de fiesta después de cada toque.

Esta idea le hizo saltar del sillón y fue a buscar todos sus ahorros para comprar una camioneta. Su primera camioneta fue una minivan.

Algo pequeña, pero relativamente cómoda para comenzar. Sin embargo, Bruno ya teniendo las llaves de la camioneta en su poder. Ocurría el incidente de la banda. The Ego los había traicionado a todos y se había apropiado de todas las canciones que la banda produjo…

Esto le partió el alma a Bruno, porque esos muchachos, no merecían eso. Sabía que su hermano era capaz de eso. Pero, de todos modos, se sorprendió de que lo hiciera. Este acto de su hermano, hacía que sus planes de transportar a la banda se vieran truncados. No solo porque la banda ya no existiera, sino porque él era el hermano de The Ego.

Otra vez su hermano se entrometía en sus planes. Bruno se sintió sumamente frustrado y entró en depresión nuevamente. La esperanza de encajar se le había ido. Estaba apunto de cometer suicidio.

Pero, algo que nunca en su vida pensaría que ocurriría, ocurrió. The Ego, le llamó justo en el momento crucial para decirle que llevara a unos “amigos” suyos a un club nocturno en su camioneta. Por supuesto, The Ego nunca supo el plan que tenía su hermano de transportar a la banda. Así que, este pedido no lo hizo con buena intención, sino una nueva forma para humillar a su hermano.

Bruno, sabía las intenciones de The Ego, pero aceptó. No para humillarse a su hermano, sino que sabía que ese era el paso que quedó pendiente con la que sería su antigua banda. Sintió que tenía que terminar ese ciclo.

Pero, ese pequeño viaje con esas personas “amigos” de The Ego fue toda la experiencia que él necesitaba para recordar el sentimiento de querer mantener unido al equipo, de apoyarlos y de divertirse con ellos de ser necesario. En este primer viaje los muchachos en son de broma se empezaron a colocar apodos y como estuvieron muy necesitados de ese servicio que Bruno les estaba ofreciendo. Lo empezaron a llamar Mr. Dependable.

Y así, fue como nació la leyenda de Mr. Dependable, un sujeto que tenía un gran valor para otros, tanto como persona, como por su servicio de transporte. Él había sido machacado por un hermano cruel. Pero, la vida le dio la oportunidad de demostrar su valía. Y, muy bien que supo aprovechar este chance

Ahora Mr. Dependable como todos lo conocen, tiene un gran servicio con muchos choferes y asistentes trabajando para él. Su hermano que trató de humillarlo una última vez, no le habló más y siempre que puede le dice a sus “amistades” que tomen los servicios de la competencia de Mr. Dependable. Pero, la popularidad y la confianza de este personaje ya no se puede detener, todos lo conocen y la mayoría opta por sus servicios. Y, aunque Mr. Dependable ya no tiene la necesidad de transportar a las bandas, se siente a gusto haciéndolo.

A few weeks ago I shared with you the story of one of the community's least favorite characters. But, he is still part of the family, as despicable as he may be. I'm talking about The Ego, the story I shared with you was about how he became what he is today. But, what I didn't tell you was about his younger brother Bruno.

Bruno being the youngest suffered a lot of abuse from his older brother. From a very young age, The Ego, not having a clear direction, competed a lot with his little brother in the things he liked. For example, Bruno played with his skateboard and did some jumps. Then, The Ego had to do better jumps and he would take full attention of those activities and if he couldn't handle the activity, the game, the arts, the sports... somehow he would take care of destroying that for his brother Bruno.

So, from a very young age Bruno had things very difficult. He became very shy and of course he stopped sharing his interests with his family and friends. He was very lonely and his brother stopped finding interesting things in his little brother. He began to seek out the interests of his "friends".

Already in his teens, when The Ego was starting to form his music band. At that moment, Bruno started to be free. Because, he no longer felt the weight of his brother's shadow on his back. But, the wounds were already done and he had so much time like that, that it would be very difficult for him to find his own way.

He tried to revive some old passions. But, they no longer appealed to him. He was in a process of change. But, with everything he was processing internally. He realized that he definitely didn't want to be like his brother. He didn't want to be a person who only thought about himself.

Bruno had the joy of welcoming The Ego's band friends into his home. At first, he thought they were just like his brother. But, as it turned out, they were very charismatic and friendly and thought about the future as a band. They wanted to feel that way for the rest of their lives and wanted to be together and prayed that The Ego would be better in the future.

While they were waiting for The Ego to arrive, everything was very pleasant, they played the instruments, they did some chorus of some famous song and our dear Bruno was there having fun with them and laughing as he had not done with other friends in a long time. Then The Ego arrived and the atmosphere changed a bit. Bruno knew he had to leave so he wouldn't have problems later with his brother.

But, as he was leaving. Tim, one of The Ego's friends, said that he had already hired a big vehicle this time so they could practice while they were on their way to the event where they would be playing.

Bruno was so excited to share with The Ego band that he wished they could meet more at his house and hang out with them. To be able to build a great friendship with these guys. No, just that. He realized the band's need for transportation to practice and get to every event and for sure to party after every gig.

This idea made him jump off the couch and he went looking for all his savings to buy a van. His first van was a minivan.

Somewhat small, but relatively comfortable to begin with. However, Bruno already having the keys to the van in his possession. The band incident occurred. The Ego had betrayed them all and had appropriated all the songs the band had produced...

This broke Bruno's heart, because those guys, they didn't deserve that. He knew his brother was capable of that. But he was surprised that he did it anyway. This act of his brother's, made his plans of transporting the band, to be cut short. Not just because the band no longer existed, but because he was The Ego's brother.

Once again his brother was meddling in his plans. Bruno felt extremely frustrated and went into depression again. The hope of fitting in was gone. He was about to commit suicide.

But, something he never thought would happen in his life did. The Ego, called him just at the crucial moment to tell him to take some "friends" of his to a nightclub in his van. Of course, The Ego never knew of his brother's plan to transport the band. So, this request was not made with good intentions, but a new way to humiliate his brother.

Bruno knew The Ego's intentions, but he accepted. Not to humiliate his brother, but he knew that this was the step that was pending with what would be his old band. He felt he had to finish that cycle.

But, that little trip with those people "friends" of The Ego was all the experience he needed to remember the feeling of wanting to keep the team together, to support them and to have fun with them if necessary. On this first trip the guys jokingly started giving each other nicknames and as they were very much in need of the service Bruno was offering them. They started calling him Mr. Dependable.

And so, the legend of Mr. Dependable was born, a guy who had great value to others, both as a person and for his transportation service. He had been crushed by a cruel brother. But, life gave him the opportunity to prove his worth. And, he made the most of it.

Now Mr. Dependable as everyone knows him, has a great service with many drivers and assistants working for him. His brother who tried to humiliate him one last time, did not speak to him anymore and whenever he can he tells his "friends" to take the services of Mr. Dependable's competition. But, the popularity and confidence of this character can no longer be stopped, everyone knows him and most opt for his services. And, although Mr. Dependable no longer has the need to transport bands, he feels comfortable doing so.
