La comunidad nos ha diseñado un concurso muy interesante. Debemos crearle una historia al personaje The Busker. Quién resulta ser la primera carta que nos obsequia el juego de Rising Star.

Saben, The Busker, no era su nombre real, sino es su nombre artístico. Aunque, no lo crean es un nombre con gran peso. Pero, poco a poco entenderán el porqué.

Cuando alguien quiere convertirse en un músico consagrado debe ir a Buskeria, todos lo decían y si me estás leyendo sabes que esta es una gran verdad. El que no pasa por Buskeria, ha tomado un atajo en su camino en la música, quiera ser cantante, baterista, guitarrista, pianista, DJ o productor o incluso músico clásico, debe ir a Buskeria.

The Busker, lo supo y se apasionó tanto con la idea de ser cantante que se dijo así mismo que toda su preparación la conseguiría en esta ciudad. Aunque siempre cantó, sabía que sus allegados no eran buenos críticos, siempre le decían que cantaba muy bien y su madre se emocionaba mucho con la idea de tener un hijo dado a las artes, especialmente al canto y siempre le decía que era el mejor cantante del mundo. Pero, algo en su interior le decía que no era tan cierto la cosa.

Al llegar a Buskeria solo contaba con el pago para un par de meses de alquiler de una habitación muy barata en Home Town. Empezó a trabajar de repartidor de Pizzas y quiso debutar en el canto. Pero, la competencia era abrumadora y en todas partes donde se quiso presentar le dieron un rotundo NO.

En una noche de micrófono abierto, lo intentó nuevamente y recibió la misma respuesta. Esta vez preguntó ¿por qué no? El dueño del local le dijo: — Aquí, solo va a cantar un cantante, no un repartidor de pizzas, si quieres cantar, dedícate al canto con todo tu ser. Aquí hay otros que han sacrificado mucho para tener esta oportunidad, esto no es solo cantar, esto no es un simple capricho. Cada paso que des en Buskeria te define yunior.

Después de tremendo regaño, cualquiera se hubiera rendido. Buskeria era difícil, ¿cómo iba a sobrevivir en aquella ciudad sin trabajar? Lo pensó toda la noche sin dormir y recordó aquel violinista que tocó en un metro de alguna ciudad, una hermosa sinfonía que pocos se pueden dar el lujo de pagar en una orquesta sinfónica y que lastimosamente en aquél subterráneo muy pocos tuvieron la paciencia de apreciar.

Se dijo: — ¡Debo tocar para vivir! Y sin pensarlo mucho tomó un pequeño valde y corrió a la calle a la esquina y cantó con muchas fuerzas. Pero, Buskeria no es tan fácil. Aunque recibía algunos pocos Starbits, lo que lo mantenía con vida eran algunas rebanadas de pizza y el café que recibía y estaba a punto de perder el alquiler, también debía huir constantemente de la policía y eso lo tenía agotado.

Un día, una profesora de música lo escuchó y le dijo: — Te veo sujetar ese micrófono, pero no se escucha nada bonito. Prueba mi guitarra un rato, haz estas notas por un rato a ver cómo te va. A Busker le dio molestia porque siempre quiso ser cantante, pero recordó que también quería recibir una crítica honesta. Y con algo de molestia tomó la guitarra e hizo lo que la profesora le sugirió. Ella, se fue a un cafetín de enfrente, se sentó y empezó a leer un libro.
Él siguió con sus movimientos de dedos recién aprendidos por un buen rato y al final de la tarde se acercó nuevamente la profesora y le preguntó — ¿cómo le fue? Él señala a unas personas que lo estaban ovacionando. The Busker, había sumado sus primeros borrachines jajaj. Sus manos estaban muy adoloridas, pero le gustó el sentimiento de tocar la guitarra y ahí decidió cambiar el micrófono por la guitarra. La profesora, le ofreció clases gratis de guitarra porque sabía que estaba en una precaria situación.

Desde ese momento, sus propinas empezaron a crecer. Se volvió a presentar en la noche de micrófono abierto y parece que hasta oliera distinto, porque el director del lugar lo añadió a la lista sin tanto protocolo. Ahí, se sintió bien recibido y mucho más entusiasmado por continuar su carrera musical en Buskeria. Antes de que se abriera el telón, sintió tanto amor por Buskeria, que pidió que lo presentaran como The Busker

Aún hay mucho que contar sobre The Busker, tal vez luego les cuente con mejor detalle. Solo quiero terminar diciendo que su carrera sigue en ascenso, sumando borrachos, fanes y día tras días más habilidad para afrontar los próximos desafíos. The Busker, suele ser cambiado por otros que parecen ser mejor, pero una vez que lo cambias, no lo vuelves a encontrar y cuando lo pierdes lo extrañas, yo lo extraño. Así de representativo es este personaje en Buskeria.

You know, The Busker was not his real name, but his stage name. Believe it or not, it is a name with great weight. But, little by little you will understand why.

When someone wants to become an acclaimed musician he must go to Buskeria, everyone said it and if you are reading me you know that this is a great truth. Whoever doesn't go through Buskeria, has taken a shortcut on his way in music, whether he wants to be a singer, drummer, guitarist, pianist, DJ or producer or even a classical musician, he must go to Buskeria.

The Busker, he knew it and was so passionate about the idea of being a singer that he told himself that he would get all his training in this city. Although he always sang, he knew that those close to him were not good critics, they always told him that he sang very well and his mother was very excited with the idea of having a son given to the arts, especially singing and always told him that he was the best singer in the world. But, something inside him told him that it was not so true.

When he arrived in Buskeria he only had enough money to pay for a couple of months' rent for a very cheap room in Home Town. He started working as a pizza delivery boy and wanted to make his singing debut. But, the competition was overwhelming and everywhere he wanted to perform he was given a resounding NO.

At an open mic night, he tried again and received the same answer. This time he asked why not? The owner of the place told him: "Here, only a singer is going to sing, not a pizza delivery boy, if you want to sing, dedicate yourself to singing with all your being. There are others here who have sacrificed a lot to have this opportunity, this is not just singing, this is not just a whim. Every step you take in Buskeria defines you yunior".

After such a scolding, anyone would have given up. Buskeria was difficult, how was he going to survive in that city without working? He thought about it all night without sleeping and remembered that violinist who played in a subway of some city, a beautiful symphony that few can afford to pay in a symphony orchestra and that unfortunately in that subway very few had the patience to appreciate.

He said to himself: "I must play to live!" And without thinking too much he took a small valde and ran to the street corner and sang with a lot of strength. But, Buskeria is not so easy. Although he was getting a few Starbits, what kept him alive were a few slices of pizza and the coffee he was getting and he was about to lose his rent, he also had to constantly run from the police and that had him exhausted.

One day, a music teacher heard him and said, "I see you holding that microphone, but it doesn't sound pretty. Try my guitar for a while, play these notes for a while and see how you do". Busker was annoyed because he always wanted to be a singer, but he remembered that he also wanted to get honest criticism. And with some annoyance he picked up the guitar and did as the teacher suggested. She, went to a coffee shop across the street, sat down and started reading a book.

He continued with his newly learned finger movements for quite a while and at the end of the afternoon the teacher approached him again and asked — How did it go? He points to some people who were cheering him on. The Busker, he had added his first drunks hahahah. His hands were very sore, but he liked the feeling of playing the guitar and decided to change the microphone for the guitar. The teacher, offered him free guitar lessons because she knew he was in a precarious situation.

There, he felt welcomed and much more excited to continue his musical career at Buskeria. Before the curtain opened, he felt so much love for Buskeria, that he asked to be introduced as The Busker.

I just want to finish by saying that his career continues to rise, adding drunks, fans and day after day more ability to face the next challenges. The Busker, is usually changed by others who seem to be better, but once you change him, you never find him again and when you lose him you miss him, that's how representative this character is in Buskeria.
