Vivir SIN covid-19// Living whitout covid-19 😷🙌💧
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we ALL became experts on the subject: what if variants, remedies, recipes, behaviors, mutations and whatever information appears. Once the symptoms of the virus appear in the body, knowledge expands based on internet chains and the experiences of others who have been infected: treatments, medicines, antibiotics, tests, plaques, sunbathing, vitamins and at this point I'm tired of it. Once the covid-19 activity has passed, we also see known or unknown sequelae and now everything we have is related to the effects of the disease. This is where our time has gone. We stopped our lives and apart from all the knowledge we have on a daily basis, now we have to add this one.
Living without covid-19
Now that we know about covid and that there are undoubtedly many probabilities of living with the disease or the contagion, I want to tell you about the experience of the "immortals", "survivors" and "legends", who have survived the contagion and who continue to give negative results to the symptoms of the disease. Since March 20-2020, when the first official cases were detected and measures were taken in the country of confinement, closing of roads to minimize the contagion, measures began in my home. My mother is a person with hypertension and chronic rhinitis, two "deadly" conditions that when crossed with this virus, are lethal.
Cleaning the house
With the rhinitis condition, I had to take measures to clean with products that did not have odor; the first obstacle since what was recommended was either bleach or vinegar. I found the solution, cleaning with hot water, alcohol and sometimes a few drops of vinegar.
Mis aliados... Sin olor// My allies... No smell.
Mis mascarillas// My masks
When the pandemic started, we had all the symptoms: a headache one day, a sore throat the next. If the symptom of stomach ache or bone pain came up, we would get it. In this sense, we were completely isolated in the same house and we had communication by telephone. After hours, yes just hours! We felt fine; our minds were playing tricks on us. We started buying masks, preparing the areas, prohibiting visitors, urgent purchases, a whole protocol when we arrived home: leaving our shoes, washing our hair twice a day, washing everything we brought from the street. In short, a series of measures to avoid contagion.
Sus mascarillas// your mask
Día de las madres... Con mascarilla// mother's day whit masks.
Of course, physical contact being the main form of contagion, we had to break any kind of unnecessary contact. Simply greeting each other in the hallways, or walking the dog, or sitting outside in the hot afternoons, was forbidden. Our religious traditions were changed and even suspended. We did not return to mass or any gathering involving contact. Social events such as birthdays or Christmas parties, we held them on camera or with the neighbors themselves in the respective distance and with masks included. Work, study, gym, was limited to our home.
Estudiando en casa// Estudying in home.
Trabajando en casa//Work in home.
Tradiciones en distanciamiento// Distancing traditions

Our life has changed and will continue to change without a doubt. Not everything has been bad, because we have been able to find talents, activities together and lower the stress of everyday life. With all these measures, my mother and I have no symptoms associated with the disease and we are alert to possible changes in our physical and mental health. Unfortunately, we have lost family members, friends and neighbors; we have also had people close to us with the disease and we have had to take care of them successfully without getting infected; we are already vaccinated with the two doses and I presented a reaction to the vaccine with a picture similar to having covid-19, but ALL my results were negative. Just thinking that after so much care I had been infected and could infect my mother, made me very nervous but I was able to get over it in only 4 days he,he,he,he. So living with covid-19 is not easy because of the process that the body goes through, but living WITHOUT covid-19 is also complicated, exhausting and we must be careful not to get sick in any other way because we are taking care of the virus. To say goodbye, it only remains to be resilient, to breathe, to find our wellbeing and to pray for a cure soon or a more effective method. These measures must be accompanied by a lot of education and common sense. Thank you for the space and if you are among these people who have not had the disease I would like to know.
