UNA DESCENDIENTE DE ARACNE EN MI JARDÍN /A DESCENDANT OF ARACHNE IN MY GARDEN (SPA - ENG)

El tejido perfecto que realizan las arañas con su tela dio origen a uno de los relatos más interesantes de la mitología grecorromana: el de Aracne, la joven a la que, sabiéndose muy habilidosa en el arte del tejido, se le subieron los humos en grado tal que retó a la diosa Palas Atenea a un competencia de bordado y terminó siendo convertida en araña por la diosa y condenada a tejer eternamente.



The perfect weaving that spiders make with their web gave rise to one of the most interesting stories in Greco-Roman mythology: that of Arachne, the young woman who, knowing she was very skilled in the art of weaving, got off steam to such an extent that she challenged the goddess Pallas Athena to an embroidery competition and ended up being turned into a spider by the goddess and condemned to weave forever.
