From Market Skills to Quiet Ambitions

Warm greetings to everyone sharing thoughts and dreams in this space.

I have always wished to run my own business. This wish did not come from big offices or foreign ideas. It came from what I see every day around me. My dream business is the selling of garri, palm oil, and crayfish. These are simple food items, but they are very important in many homes. They are eaten daily, trusted, and never go out of demand.

Whenever I visit the market, I watch how people rush to buy these items. I see women bargaining, children helping their parents, and traders smiling after good sales. In those moments, I imagine myself as one of the sellers. I imagine arranging clean bags of garri, bright bottles of palm oil, and well-dried crayfish. I see customers coming back because they trust my goods. This dream gives me hope, focus, and strength to keep pushing forward daily.

The only problem standing in my way is money. Capital has always been my challenge. I have the interest, the patience, and the willingness to learn. I am ready to wake up early, travel far to buy good products, and treat customers with respect. But without enough money to start, the dream stays in my heart.

If resources were not an issue, I would start this business immediately. I would rent a small but neat shop and buy in bulk to reduce cost. I would learn better storage methods and simple marketing skills. I would also employ one or two people to help, especially during busy days. This business would not only support me but also serve the community with good and affordable food items.

This is the market skill in my quiet heart.

Food items or ingredients are easy to sell, especially if they are needed for everyday cooking. May you have the required capital to start it in the near future :)
