Holozing ELECTRIC RABBIT Fan Art Sculpture [ENG-ESP]

Hello friends, I hope you are well, on this occasion I want to share with you one of my latest sculptures made with soda cans, it is Electric Rabbit, a very beautiful and curious creature, it reminds me a lot of Mew from Pokemon. design is simply great, I love it, I hope it can count on more evolutions. I'm thinking about a new creature to make to help with the expansion of the game. I made this sculpture 12 centimeters high, only using soda cans and glue. I hope you like the process.

Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes una de mis últimas esculturas realizadas con latas de soda, se trata de Electric Rabbit, una criatura muy hermosa y curiosa, me recuerda mucho a Mew de Pokemon.El diseño es sencillamente genial, me encanta, espero que pueda contar con más evoluciones. Estoy pensando en una criatura nueva para hacer y así colaborar con la expansión del juego. Esta escultura la hice de 12 centímetros de alto, solamente utilizando latas de soda y pegamento. Espero que les guste el proceso.

PROCESS

I drew some very easy templates, which only consist of the head, the trunk and the limbs, I made a combination of a rabbit and also a squirrel, so that the sculpture was a bit cartoonish and not like a sculpture of a realistic rabbit.

Dibujé unas plantillas muy fáciles, que solamente consta de la cabeza, el tronco y las extremidades, hice una combinación de un conejo y también una ardilla, para que la escultura quedara un poco en forma de caricatura y no como una escultura de un conejo realista.

I used 4 soda cans, which I cut and turned into thin aluminum sheets to use as sheets to stick the stencils on. Then take out each of the pieces to join them together until the figure is complete.

Utilicé 4 latas de soda, las cuales corte y convertí en finas láminas de aluminio para utilizar como hojas en donde pegar las plantillas. Luego sacar cada una de las piezas para unirlas entre ellas hasta completar la figura.

The first piece to make is the head and it is made up, so to speak, of two pieces, one upper and one lower. The upper piece is the upper part, where the eyes and ears are, and the lower part is where the mouth and neck are and where it joins the rest of the body. When you have the two pieces ready, I only join them together with glue.

La primera pieza en hacer es la cabeza y esta constituida por así decirlo en dos piezas, una superior y una inferior. La pieza superior es la parte de arriba, donde están los ojos y las orejas, y la parte de abajo es donde esta la boza y el cuello y donde se une con el resto del cuerpo. Al tener las dos piezas listas solamente las uno entre ellas con pegamento.

The next step was to make part of the neck, chest and front limbs, I made all these parts in one piece. I cut them from the paper to the can and then I shaped them with a pen without ink, using the metal tip of the pen I molded each piece until I had it ready. Then glue the head and legs and you can see how it takes shape.

El siguiente paso fue hacer parte del cuello, el pecho y las extremidades delanteras, toda estas partes las hice en una sola pieza. Las corté del papel hacia la lata y luego les di forma con un bolígrafo sin tinta, usando la punta de metal del bolígrafo moldeo cada pieza hasta tenerla lista. Después con pegamento un la cabeza y las piernas y se puede ver como va tomando forma.

Next I made the part of the back that joins the front legs and is the place for the back legs. With glue I join all the parts until the sculpture takes shape.

Seguidamente hice la parte de la espalda que une las piernas delanteras y y está el lugar de las piernas traseras. Con pegamento voy uniendo todas las partes hasta que la escultura va tomando forma.

When almost completely completing the figure I always leave for last those details that deserve more attention, in this case I made the ears that resemble two large lightning bolts and I also made the feet, as if they were those of a rabbit. Having both pieces cut and molded, I attached them with glue.

Al completar casi por completo la figura siempre dejo para último lugar aquellos detalles que merecen más atención, en este caso hice las orejas que se asemejan a dos grandes relámpagos y también hice los pies, como si fueran los de un conejo. Al tener ambas piezas cortadas y moldeadas las peqgué con pegamento.

As final details to complete my sculpture, I painted the eyes, nose and mouth using acrylic paint and a fine brush, this way it was finished.

Como detalles finales para culminar mi escultura pinté los ojos, la nariz y la boca utilizando pintura acrílica y un pincel fino, de esta manera quedó finalizado.

FINAL WORK

This is how my Electric Rabbit sculpture was finished, what do you think? I was very satisfied, I hope to be able to make more sculptures and that each one comes out the same size, I plan to collect all those that I like. I planned to make the eyes with cans of various colors, I made a first attempt but I couldn't achieve it, since there were cuts that were too small, that's why I chose to paint them. I already have two creatures in my possession, and you will see how little by little my collection will grow. For now I say goodbye, I hope you liked it, don't forget to comment what you thought. Así quedó finalizada mi escultura de Electric Rabbit, que les parece? yo quedé muy conforme, yo espero poder hacer más escultura y que cada una me salga del mismo tamaño, pienso coleccionar todas aquellas que me gusten. Los ojos pensaba hacerlos con latas de varios colores, hice un primer intento pero no pude lograrlo, ya que habían cortes que eran demasiados pequeños, por eso opté por pintarlos. Ya tengo dos criaturas en mi poder, y verán como poco a poco irá creciendo mi colección. Por ahora me despido, espero que les haya gustado, no olviden comentar que les ha parecido.
