LOH #84 The Experience Of Being A Firstborn And The Rewards Of My Worth

Hello my dear friend…
Here i come to share my entry to Ladies Of Hive community’ contest. Both of the question are interesting and i feel like i want to answer both of them even though just shortly.

The first question would be, “What was your position (in terms of birth) in the family? How did that experience help you become, or hinder you from becoming a successful adult?”

Here is my answer:
I am the first born out of 5. Its clear that being the first born mean that we have more responsibility compared to our younger siblings. When i think back, i dont think i ever hate the fact that i am a first born even when i was younger. I always enjoy the fact that i have four lovely younger siblings. They’re always warmed my heart. Not to forget the fact that it means we the first born have the most authority out of them all. I know that we’re not in military but rank does matter in real life. We should show dominance to keep our subordinates, partners, friends, or in this case our siblings not crossing the line. It is important to treat them kindly as a friend yet give them some reason to fear and respect you.
The experience of being the first born never hinder me in any situation of my life. I would not say anything about successful adult because i dont know what kind of success we’re talking about here. Being the first born trained me to have a lot of strength, confidence, tenacity, and other things i cant even tell because its a lot. I learnt that i should be strong, yet have a lot of compassion. It teach me to be selfless for my family, Maybe because my younger siblings can’t understand a lot of things yet. It gave me a dream of a future. The future family i wang to build on my own.

For the second question, “Everyone has an opinion about her/his self-worth. Do you feel you're being rewarded enough for yours? Remember that rewards are not always in monetary form.”

Here is my answer:
To be honest, i dont know from whom i should expect myself to be rewarded. But the only thing i can think of are reward from the universe, God included. I think that i am so blessed and worth a lot. I dont know what is inferiority. I think that universe rewarded me with a lot of convenience to see the world is such a beautiful place. There can be storm but i can still view the world as such a beautiful place (chillingly beautiful but still), I can have no money yet i will never think my life is ending. I think that gratitude feelings are the best reward this world can give to someone. With gratitude in our heart, you can turn tears and pain into something beautiful.
