Celebrating My Birthday With My Friend In Wow Rung Restaurant.

Hello my dear friends…
In this lovely morning, i will share about my experience eating in a new place and celebrating my birthday with my friend. Me and my friend, Utet, planned to meet up in the weekend. I was so surprised when i entered her car, she prepared a cake for me. Thank you once again my friend. Initially one of the main reason that we meet up because she needs a reason to go as her companion to a wedding reception. But in the day before, she cancelled that. She said we just have to meet up to have a lunch date. We going round and round because we dong know where should we eat. We opened the account IG @makanhalalmedan to get some inspiration where to eat. My friend recommended this place that she saw. She said that its been sometimes she saw this place in IG and she got really curious.

This is really close to my grandpa’s house.
The design is very simple yet cute. Not only that, what i like about this place is because the space is really wide and the position of one table to another table it’s quite far from each other so we have our own space without getting bothered by other customers.

This is their menu. Look at all this variant. We almost can get everything in here especially the local food. Me and my friends need to sing for quite some time before we can decide what we want to eat. It feels like we want to try and eat everything but we both know that we both doesn’t eat a lot so we try to restrain ourselves to just order three food.

This is our drink.

My friend ordered Kiwi Yakult. I tried her drink, its refreshing but j am not really into kiwi taste so i dont enjoy them.

This is my drink, its the simple Lychee tea. The weather is really hot outside, the sun is blazing. Its only right to order and enjoy lychee tea. Its really one of the most refreshing feeling ever. In some place, When we order Lychee tea. We cant really taste the lychee as the taste of the tea and sugar is more dominant. But not with this one . This lychee tea from Wow Rung is a real taste of lychee tea. So i think thats why the taste is so refreshing.

This is our food. As i said before, only three food.

This is the sate taichan. Actually, this is one of the main reason why we finally decided to eat in this place. I look at their IG and its looks so tempting. The taste of the sate is good, its just usually they will give more spicier sauce with it but the one that they gave in Wow Rung is not spicy at all and its the first time i eat sate taichan without so spicy sauce.

This is our favorite snacks which is Tahu Cabe Garam (Chili Salt Tofu). We love tahu cabe garam a lot. My friend introduced me to tahu cabe garam and i got addicted ever since. Once again, usually they will put more chili in Tahu Cabe Garam but in here its not like that. So , its not like we usually eat. But its tasty nonetheless. I should try to make my own Tahu cabe garam though.

Last but not least, its Tipker Martabak With Chocolate and Cheese Filling. Eating sweet snacks together with spicy food is a must for us too. We like to have salty, spicy, and spice food altogether. I must say this is my favorite order out of the three. They’re not beinv stingy with the cheese at all. So its salty and sweet together, so heavenly.

Since my friend prepared a cake for me, we decided to take the picture together in the restaurant.

Sadly, my pretty cake is ruined. I think its because i was careless when putting them in the back of the car. But look at the cake, the cake is so pretty. When we take picture, i try to hide the ruined part. I hope its a success .
