(ENG/ ESP) "Life, Smiles, love and music". A fun and unexpected photo shoot at the Teresa Carreño theater./ Una divertida e inesperada sesión de fotos en el teatro Teresa Carreño.

Primero un poco de contexto. Desde el año 2018 un grupo de amigos y yo decidimos crear un grupo música, un cuarteto para ser más exactos, lo llamamos Tepuy Strings y hemos hecho música increíble desde entonces. Luego en el año 2019 se nos unió un gran y talentoso amigo percusionista para establecernos como un quinteto. Mejor no podía ser!

First a little bit of context. Since 2018 a group of friends and I decided to create a music group, a quartet to be more exact, we called it Tepuy Strings and we have been making amazing music ever since. Then in 2019 we were joined by a great and talented percussionist friend to establish ourselves as a quintet. It couldn't get any better!

Cada uno de nosotros tiene personalidades distintas y por ende diferentes gustos musicales, entre los que destacan el rock y el pop, pero con un amor colectivo por la música venezolana. Esa es una de las razones por la cual el nombre Tepuy.

Each of us have distinct personalities and therefore different musical tastes, most notably rock and pop, but with a collective love for Venezuelan music. That is one of the reasons for the name Tepuy.

María Virginia, excelente violinista es oriunda de la ciudad de Valencia y es súper amante de la música Venezolana. Mi gran amigo Jesús Larez es un gran músico y férreo violista que viene de la ciudad del Tigre que disfruta y ama el rock con locura. Y tenemos a Styphanie, Gutireña de nacimiento es una súper talentosa violoncellista, pero además una bella y muy tranquila señorita que ama el pop y las baladas, y luego estoy yo que soy una combinación de gustos de todos ellos.

María Virginia, an excellent violinist, is a native of the city of Valencia and a great lover of Venezuelan music. My great friend Jesus Larez is a great musician and fierce violinist who comes from the city of El Tigre and loves rock with madness. And we have Styphanie, Gutireña by birth is a super talented cellist, but also a beautiful and very quiet lady who loves pop and ballads, and then I am a combination of tastes of all of them.

Resulta y acontece que un bello día, Styphanie, Jesús y yo teníamos un concierto con la Sinfónica Ayacucho, orquesta de la que somos parte y estábamos uniformados esperando el autobús junto a los demás miembros de la orquesta en el Teatro Teresa Carreño, lugar donde nos buscarían. Y que genial coincidencia que nos encontramos con nuestra amiga María Virginia que tenía que ir a tocar en un evento y la buscarían allí un rato después de nosotros irnos.

It happens that one beautiful day, Styphanie, Jesus and I had a concert with the Ayacucho Symphony, orchestra of which we are part and we were in uniform waiting for the bus with the other members of the orchestra at the Teresa Carreño Theater, the place where they would pick us up. And what a great coincidence that we met our friend María Virginia who had to go to play in an event and they would pick her up there a while after we left.

Que bello encuentro, y más aún una genial coincidencia que todos estuviéramos en el mismo lugar y vestidos de la misma forma. Así que no perdimos el tiempo y aprovechamos de hacernos una rápida y fugaz sesión de fotos con nuestro teléfonos, algo brusca, pero con mucho amor y humor como siempre nos caracteriza nuestra unión.

What a beautiful encounter, and even more a great coincidence that we were all in the same place and dressed in the same way. So we wasted no time and took the opportunity to do a quick and fleeting photo session with our phones, a little rough, but with lots of love and humor as always characterizes our union.

Que genial es poder compartir bellas sonrisas, tiempo y amistad con personas especiales a las cuales nos une la misma pasión, la buena música!!
