Three photo Thursday - a happy, unseasonal surprise

Morning. Suddenly I've 6 duck eggs, if you're interested. I'm going to the village tomorrow morning, so could deliver to you then, if you're interested. Enjoy your day and stay warm.

That, was farmer P on Tuesday. Of course, you know my response, right? The phrase that went through my head was not very ladylike and included references to ducks and bums...

So, last night's supper, aptly, was a grownup take on a British and childhood favourite: egg and chips.

This version: poached duck eggs (with a hen's egg for The Husband), baked potato wedges and minted peas.

It all tasted even better off pretty plates. I promise!

It was a good end to another long desk day and my week in that office. It's Friday again, so it into my other office and happy place. Happily, the agenda is relatively short.
