"Powering Down" Pasta

Yes, the title's a little misleading. In my defence, it's in the kitchen that I power down. Last night was no exception as my collaborator and I head into the home straight of our first project.

It's just a week to go, and as always happens, there is suddenly a bit of a crunch.

So, to the kitchen: it's still about garden loot and local bounty for pasta night. Again, a three-bit meal.

Salad, mushroom pasta with oreganum and thyme.

Since I learned how to slow cook mushrooms to develop the flavour, this has become our go-to pasta.

All rounded off witb strawberries and full cream yoghurt, which, incidentally, is another of my collaborator's products. Often bartered. As we did the artichokes and mangetout for which I paid in marmalade...

Until next time, be well

  • re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
  • and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
I blog to the Hive blockchain using a number of decentralised appplications.
