Día Mundial de la filosofía

Hoy estamos conmemorando el Día Mundial de la Filosofía se celebra cada año el tercer jueves de noviembre. La UNESCO estableció este día a principios de los 2000 para subrayar el valor perdurable de la filosofía para el desarrollo del pensamiento humano.

Estudié filosofía y considero que es una disciplina que se ocupa de las grandes preguntas de la vida, es una disciplina que se centra esencialmente en las preguntas más que en las respuestas, se hace preguntas con relación al significado de la existencia, la naturaleza de la realidad, principios de la ética. Un aspecto que me parece realmente importante de la filosofía es que se basa en el pensamiento crítico e intenta poseer capacidad de analizar y evaluar argumentos de forma objetiva.

Ahora bien el pensamiento crítico es una habilidad que toda persona debería aprender y desarrollar ya que nos permite tomar decisiones informadas, resolver problemas con criterios y participar de forma constructiva en la vida pública. El mundo es cada vez más complejo, haciendo del pensamiento crítico algo cada vez más y más importante. Nos ayuda a hacer frente a la desinformación, a distinguir entre hechos y opiniones y a tomar decisiones fundamentada, me gusta pensar en el término "infocracía" acuñado por el surcoreano Byung-Chul Han cuando se trata de pensar en la realidad, hoy la sociedad como sociedad vive una confusión que me parece preocupante.

Confundimos información con conocimiento y es precisamente la filosofía es el área del saber que nos pone frente a frente a nuestra ignorancia, eso nos hace personas lucidas y nos motiva a reaprender, a discernir aspectos de la sociedad. Por otro lado pensando en las relaciones humanas, el pensamiento crítico es fundamental para el diálogo y el entendimiento mutuo. Nos permite escuchar y respetar las opiniones de los demás, incluso si no estamos de acuerdo con ellas.

En una sociedad abierta y plural, el pensamiento crítico es una herramienta indispensable para construir un mundo más justo y equitativo, por eso, quiero hablar un poco del proyecto del cual soy co-fundador:

Humanitas

Nos gustó pensar en el proyecto como un ejercicio para promover el pensamiento crítico en el entorno web3, sabiendo que la educación es la clave, hemos promovido numerosas iniciativas y dinámicas que intentan poner como horizonte la reflexión.

Web3 es un entorno lo suficientemente interesante para se reflexionado y también se ofrece como lugar como punto de partida para reflexiones interesantes. Es por eso, que hoy en este día mundial de la filosofía he pensado en algunas ideas para promover el pensamiento critico desde la comunidad de Humanitas y Hive para el resto del entorno web3.

• Ofrecer cursos o programas educativos de filosofía.
• Promover la lectura de libros y artículos sobre filosofía.
• Organizar debates y conversaciones sobre temas filosóficos.
• Apoyar a las organizaciones que promueven el pensamiento crítico.

Hoy como día Mundial de la Filosofía es una oportunidad para reflexionar sobre la importancia del pensamiento crítico ya que es una habilidad que todos deberíamos desarrollar para construir un mundo mejor. Se me ocurren algunas ideas de como el pensamiento crítico puede ayudarnos desde el entorno web3.

• Puede ayudarnos a tomar decisiones informadas sobre temas como el uso de datos y la información.
• Puede ayudarnos a resolver problemas de forma eficaz.
• Puede ayudarnos a identificar la desinformación.
• Puede ayudarnos a ser ciudadanos web3 más informados y participativos.

World Philosophy Day

We are commemorating World Philosophy Day today, which is celebrated every year on the third Thursday of November. UNESCO established this day in the early 2000s to underscore the enduring value of philosophy for the development of human thought.

I study philosophy and consider it a discipline that deals with the great questions of life, a discipline that focuses essentially on questions rather than answers, questions about the meaning of existence, the nature of reality, principles of ethics. One aspect that I find really important about philosophy is that it is based on critical thinking and tries to have the ability to analyze and evaluate arguments objectively.

Now critical thinking is a skill that every person should learn and develop because it allows us to make informed decisions, solve problems with criteria and participate constructively in public life. The world is increasingly complex, making critical thinking more and more important. It helps us deal with misinformation, distinguish between facts and opinions and make well-founded decisions, I like to think in the term "infocracy" coined by the South Korean Byung-Chul Han when thinking about reality, today society as a society lives a confusion that I find worrying.

We confuse information with knowledge and it is precisely philosophy that is the area of knowledge that puts us face to face with our ignorance, that makes us lucid people and motivates us to relearn, to discern aspects of society. On the other hand, thinking about human relationships, critical thinking is essential for dialogue and mutual understanding. It allows us to listen to and respect the opinions of others, even if we do not agree with them.

In an open and plural society, critical thinking is an indispensable tool for building a fairer and more equitable world, that is why, on this World Philosophy Day, I have thought of some ideas to promote critical thinking from the Humanitas and Hive community for the rest of the web3 environment.

We liked to think of the project as an exercise to promote critical thinking in the web3 environment, knowing that education is key, we have promoted numerous initiatives and dynamics that try to put reflection on the horizon.

Web3 is an interesting enough environment to be thought about and also offers itself as a place as a starting point for interesting reflections. That is why, on this World Philosophy Day, I have thought of some ideas to promote critical thinking from the Humanitas and Hive community for the rest of the web3 environment.

• Offer philosophy courses or educational programs.
• Promote the reading of books and articles on philosophy.
• Organize debates and conversations on philosophical topics.
• Support organizations that promote critical thinking.

Today as World Philosophy Day is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of critical thinking as a skill that we should all develop to build a better world. I can think of some ways in which critical thinking can help us from the web3 environment.

• It can help us make informed decisions about issues such as data and information use.
• It can help us solve problems effectively.
• It can help us identify misinformation.
• It can help us be more informed and participatory web3 citizens.
