Hive Open Mic Week 95 / Feel Invincible (Guitar Cover) by @fernanblog

Hello friends of Hive and my dear Hive Open Mic family, I'm Fernando Benedetti from @fernanblog, once again I'm grateful to be able to join you and enjoy the talent of all of us who are part of this great community. We have already started the 2nd month of the year and I see more people joining Hive, this is really a great achievement for the platform because this way it becomes more visible to the most influential content creators in the world and to those who are looking for a special place to show what they are passionate about...

As our friend and great artist @adrianalara says, we are entering "new times", the world continues to seek stability after 2 very difficult years; each one of us has the mission to reestablish order within the disorder that was generated with the pandemic. This year 2022 is key for many countries politically, economically and socially, because somehow they are coming out of the phase of readjustment that they had before everything that has happened.

On a spiritual level, the human being must finish strengthening his beliefs from love and positivism, he must not doubt anymore, that has done much damage to the psychic integrity of humanity. There are many religions, all with their principles, dogmas, philosophies, but that should not transgress the thinking of others, we must learn to maintain a more personal and less fanatical position of what is internally handled on the origin of life and its foundations, we can not impose our will by force, we must learn once and for all to live with our differences, in the end all these positions on creation converge in that there is a supreme being, a source, a God!

Based on what I have said, this week's theme at once brought to my mind the spiritual realm of the human mind, and how one maintains an introspective relationship with oneself and with that entity which, from various perspectives, we call God...

I am a believer and faith has kept me focused when it comes to living a healthy life; believing in God is something that strengthens me daily and gives me very beautiful reasons to love everything around me, without ties, without complexes, respecting my being in its totality and respecting my environment.

For this week I bring you a guitar cover of the best Christian rock/metal band that exists, a band that has been recognized worldwide as the best in its genre; they have won many awards throughout their musical career and have been an inspiration for many generations that venture into the world of Rock, I'm talking about Skillet, hahahaha yes, its name in Spanish is also very funny.

The song I'm going to play for you is called "Feel Invincible", and it's about the strength we get after putting our faith in God's hands. This song is the 1st single, from the band's 9th studio album titled "Unleashed" released in 2016. It is a very powerful song, energetic and with an aggressiveness in the guitar that makes it even more addictive; it is relatively easy to play on a general level, but its guitar solo, although it seems simple, merits skill on the part of the guitarist.

Having already talked about this wonderful band and the song I'm going to perform, I present my participation for the Hive Open Mic in its 95th week whose theme is “New Times”, ¡so with that said... Let’s rock!

Hola amigos de Hive y de mi querida familia Hive Open Mic, soy Fernando Benedetti de @fernanblog, una vez más estoy agradecido de poderlos acompañar y disfrutar del talento de todos los que formamos parte de esta gran comunidad. Ya iniciamos el 2do mes del año y veo a más personas integrarse a Hive, eso realmente es un gran logro para la plataforma ya que de esta manera se hace más visible ante los creadores de contenido más influyentes del mundo y ante aquellos que buscan un lugar especial en donde mostrar lo que les apasiona…

Como dice nuestra amiga y gran artista @adrianalara, estamos entrando en “nuevos tiempos”, el mundo continúa buscando estabilidad luego de 2 años muy difíciles; cada uno de nosotros tenemos la misión de reestablecer el orden dentro del desorden que se generó con la pandemia. Este año 2022 es clave para muchos países en lo político, económico y social, porque de alguna manera ya están saliendo de la fase de reajuste que traían antes de todo lo que ha sucedido.

A nivel espiritual el ser humano debe terminar de afianzar sus creencias desde el amor y el positivismo, no debe dudar más, eso ha hecho mucho daño a la integridad psíquica de la humanidad. Existen muchas religiones, todas con sus principios, dogmas, filosofías, pero eso no debe transgredir el pensamiento ajeno, se debe aprender a mantener una postura más personal y menos fanática de lo que internamente se maneja sobre el origen de la vida y sus fundamentos, no podemos imponer nuestra voluntad a la fuerza, debemos aprender de una vez por todas a vivir con nuestras diferencias, a la final todas estas posturas sobre la creación convergen en que existe un ser supremo, una fuente, un Dios!!!

Basándome en lo que he dicho, la temática de esta semana de una vez me trajo a la mente el ámbito espiritual de la mente humana, y de cómo se mantiene una relación introspectiva con uno mismo y con esa entidad a la que, desde diversas perspectivas, llamamos Dios…

Yo soy creyente y la fe me ha mantenido enfocado cuando se trata de vivir la vida sanamente; creer en Dios es algo que me fortalece a diario y me da razones muy bonitas para amar todo lo que me rodea, sin ataduras, sin complejos, respetando mi ser en su totalidad y respetando a mi entorno.

Para esta semana les traigo un cover de guitarra de la mejor banda de rock/metal cristiano que existe, una banda que ha sido reconocida a nivel mundial como la mejor en su género; han ganado muchos premios a lo largo de su carrera musical y han sido inspiración para muchas generaciones que incursionan en el mundo del Rock, les hablo de Skillet (Sartén), jajajaja sí, su nombre en español es muy chistoso.

La canción que voy a tocar para ustedes se llama “Feel Invincible” (Sentirse Invencible), y trata de esa fortaleza que conseguimos tras poner nuestra fe en las manos de Dios. Esta canción es el 1er sencillo, del 9no álbum de estudio de la banda titulado “Unleashed” (Desatado) lanzado en el año 2016. Es una canción muy poderosa, enérgica y con una agresividad en la guitarra que la hace más adictiva aún; es relativamente fácil de tocar a nivel general, pero su solo de guitarra, aunque parezca simple, amerita de destreza por parte del guitarrista.

Habiendo hablado ya de esta maravillosa banda y de la canción que voy a interpretar, les presento mi participación para el Hive Open Mic en su semana 95 cuya temática es “Nuevos Tiempos”, así que dicho esto… ¡A Rockear!
