Hello friends of Hive and my dear Hive Open Mic family, I'm Fernando Benedetti from @fernanblog; once again we make history in this great community full of talents from all over the world, artists both new and radiant gems, all doing what we love and enjoy the most: music...

This week's theme proposed by friend @david.dicotomia is interesting, "Amor A Escondidas" is something that perhaps many of us have experienced, some probably did well, others not so much, but without a doubt, falling in love in secret or seeing someone on the sly in exchange for a lasting love is something beautiful and exciting!

When I was 13 years old I remember having a love affair on the sly, simply because we were scared and embarrassed that our parents would know about it, but it was nice while it lasted hahaha since it was a fleeting courtship.

A few years ago, before coming to Colombia, there was a woman in my workplace that I liked a lot, there was a big age difference between us, however, that did not limit me from approaching her. She had been divorced for a year, she has 2 children, with whom, by the way, I got along excellently; to make a long story short, our friendship, at first, was very nice, and I particularly wanted to have a serious relationship with her, she just didn't have the disposition to enter into another relationship.

That was understandable, commonly a separation or divorce is not overcome - in most cases - in less than a year, that led me to be very patient and respectful of her emotional situation. Regardless of that, every day that passed what I felt was stronger, on the other hand, there was a moment where the planets aligned in my favor and suddenly she started to feel something for me too...

We were 10 years apart, on many occasions she told me that something should not happen between us for that reason, before that I told her that, if we felt something so beautiful, why curb our instincts?... don't you think?

We went out together, we ate together, we spent whole days together and that made the illusion grow in me. My family didn't know anything about that attraction, but they did know her; and her family, even her children suspected something, but that wasn't known until there was security in both of us.

That woman had me crazy hahahaha, so much so that we were planning the future together even as partners, because she is a doctor and we wanted to start a consulting project at the organizational level, offering medical and psychological services in the first instance. Rather, there were signs that something big could happen between us.

But not everything was happiness, there was a point where I discovered that she was secretly seeing a colleague of hers with whom she had had a relationship during her college years... I am very radical, due to the pain that this caused me, I quit my job and never had contact with her again. She tried to reach me several times, but her attempts were unsuccessful. That is already history, I wanted to remember it with you because what I lived through inspired me to write the song I bring you today.

For this week I present another original song, a powerful song that I liked to compose because I made a mix of soft rock with heavy rock; today I will play it for the theme of the week as I did it, with a lot of distortion on the guitar and without accompaniment, because I never recorded this song in studio with the band I had, by that time the band had already disbanded.

I love the lyrics, I wrote it based on what I initially experienced with her and once again I did catharsis with another composition. I hope to record it someday with good musicians because the song, in my personal opinion, deserves it.

Without lengthening more what was supposed to be short hahaha, I bring you my participation for week 93 of the Hive Open Mic, with my song titled "Amor Estelar" (Stellar Love), I hope you enjoy it and in advance I thank you for the support you have always given me, I love you very much!

PS: I took the picture recently outside my apartment, the moon that night was like to write another song hehehehe...

Hola amigos de Hive y de mi querida familia Hive Open Mic, soy Fernando Benedetti de @fernanblog; una vez más hacemos historia en esta gran comunidad llena de talentos de todo el mundo, artistas tanto nuevos como gemas radiantes, todos haciendo lo que más nos gusta y que disfrutamos al máximo: la música…

La temática de esta semana propuesta por el amigo @david.dicotomia es interesante, “Amor A Escondidas” es algo que quizás muchos hemos vivido, a algunos probablemente les haya ido bien, a otros no tanto, pero sin duda alguna, enamorarse en secreto o verse con alguien a escondidas a cambio de un amor duradero ¡es algo bonito y emocionante!.

Cuando yo tenía 13 años recuerdo haber tenido un amor a escondidas, sencillamente porque nos daba miedo y pena que nuestros padres supieran de ello, pero fue algo bonito mientras duró jajaja ya que fue un noviazgo fugaz.

Hace unos años atrás, antes de venirme a Colombia, hubo una mujer en mi lugar de trabajo que me gustaba mucho, había mucha diferencia de edad entre ambos, sin embargo, eso no me limitó de poder acercarme a ella. Ella llevaba 1 año de haberse divorciado, tiene 2 hijos, con quienes, por cierto, me llevaba excelente; para hacer corta la historia, nuestra amistad, primeramente, era muy bonita, y yo particularmente quería tener una relación seria con ella, solo que ella no tenía la disposición para entrar en otra relación.

Eso era entendible, comúnmente una separación o un divorcio no se supera - en la mayoría de los casos - en menos de un año, eso me llevó a tener mucha paciencia y respetarle su situación emocional. Independientemente de ello, cada día que pasaba lo que yo sentía era más fuerte, por otro lado, hubo un momento en donde los planetas se alinearon a mi favor y de repente ella empezó a sentir algo por mí también…

Nosotros nos llevábamos 10 años de diferencia, en muchas ocasiones ella me dijo que no debía pasar algo entre nosotros por ese motivo, yo antes eso le dije que, si sentíamos algo tan bonito, ¿por qué frenar los instintos?... no creen?

Salíamos juntos, comíamos juntos, pasábamos días enteros juntos y eso hizo crecer la ilusión en mí. Mi familia no sabía nada de esa atracción, pero si la conocían a ella; y la familia de ella, incluso sus hijos sospechaban de algo, pero eso no se supo hasta que hubiera seguridad en ambos.

Esa mujer me tenía loco jajajaja, tanto así que planeábamos el futuro juntos hasta como socios, porque ella es médico y queríamos iniciar un proyecto de consultoría a nivel organizacional, ofreciendo servicios médicos y psicológicos en primera instancia. Mejor dicho, había indicios de que algo grande podía pasar entre nosotros.

Pero no todo era felicidad, hubo un punto donde descubrí que ella se veía a escondidas con un colega de ella con quien había tenido una relación en sus años de universidad… yo soy muy radical, debido al dolor que eso me causó, renuncié a mi trabajo y nunca más tuve contacto con ella. Ella intentó localizarme en varias oportunidades, pero fueron fallidos sus intentos. Eso ya es historia, lo quería recordar con ustedes porque eso que viví me hizo inspirar en la canción que les traigo hoy.

Para esta semana les presento otra canción original, una canción potente y que me gustó componer porque hice una mezcla de rock suave con rock pesado; hoy la tocaré para la temática de la semana, tal cual como la hice, con mucha distorsión en la guitarra y sin acompañamientos, porque nunca grabé esta canción en estudio con la banda que tuve, para ese momento ya la banda se había disuelto.

La letra me encanta, la escribí basándome en lo que viví inicialmente con ella y una vez más hice catarsis con otra composición. Espero grabarla algún día con buenos músicos porque la canción, en mi opinión personal, la merece…

Sin alargar más lo que se suponía era corto jajaja, les traigo mi participación para la semana 93 del Hive Open Mic, con mi canción titulada “Amor Estelar”, espero la disfruten y de antemano les doy las gracias por el apoyo que siempre me han dado ¡los quiero mucho!

PD: la foto la tomé recientemente afuera de mi apartamento, la luna esa noche estaba como para escribir otra canción jejeje…
