Bombercrypto - An investment I've avoided

Bombercrypto

Since yesterday, this Unity crypto game called Bombercrypto always gets stuck at 10% while loading.

At least one "bomber hero". It's around $50. Supposedly playable pve. But YUCK! does it look absolutely terribly managed! It yells RUGPULL to my ears like no tomorrow - but it also yells "unprofessional". Although the idea is interesting, I've been trying to get into the game, but just as I got ready to buy in, things looked really ugly in their Discord. That was the first time I was paying attention to it.

Their community management is awful, maybe non-existent. 90% of all general chat comes from holders who try to politely silence complaints. "I STILL CAN'T LOGIN!" -> "No reason to spam. Just wait." Why do we need to wait? Zero transparency. Someone starts complaining that the game server is too small. Considering the game's coin shot up, it's amazing how no one bothers spending money on a better server.

But there are people playing. If you've played axie or any other crypto game at a glitchy time, you know servers usually slow down or crash whenever there are too many people playing. Developers constantly address the problem while making announcements - at least if it's a serious project with some kind of PR.

In Bombercrypto's case, most players couldn't even login - but some could. If it's limited to only a few players, then it looks like some founders club surely have way too much advantage here. Not to mention enough people refusing to log out can simply take nearly the entire game hostage, since the next person can only login when there's a spot for them.

I also noticed some people asking in random chat channels why they couldn't talk in general chat. Nobody bothered answering them, even though that's obviously the work of a mod. Speaking of mods, there's an awful lot of Brazilian presence in moderation. It's easier to get answered in Portuguese than it is in English. You don't see usually Chinese dominate general/support chat in a Chinese crypto game!

Yet, you can see a few YouTubers tripling their investment in only two to three days. If that doesn't make it clear it you, nothing else will. So I decided to skip bombercrypto entirely. Even if it's actually not a rugpull, their development team doesn't seem to be handling the project appropriately. Inexperience, maybe? Betting on BCOIN feels like it has too much risk without high enough rewards.

Senspark

Bombercrypto's developer is Senspark. That's the only real reason to think Bombercrypto isn't a scam, but it's a good reason. They're a somewhat established mobile gaming company, but this is their very first crypto project. Honestly, depending on how this BCOIN game plays out (no pun intended), I'll gladly get in their second game when they already have more experience in the crypto universe.
