IMG_20220311_124838_719.jpg

Guess what's packed inside these takeaways...

I'm waiting ๐Ÿ˜€.............

Since nobody guessed it I'd reveal what's packed myself ๐Ÿ˜‰

It's "pancakes"!! Yeah u heard right, it's pancakes
Funny right? Who packs pancakes to go? Well my friends do๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜...

My friend's (I call them 'my squad') ganged up on me to make them pancakes for breakfast, I thought I could evade it (because it was a lazy morning for me) and said I don't have the ingredients at home buh the next knock I heard at my door was one of them bringing the ingredients for the pancake๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

What more can I still say? They already had me at a corner I had no choice but to make them pancakes...

A pancake is a round flat cake fried with oil or butter. Can be eaten as deserts, breakfast or just anytime...
Let's go to the tutorial you will know better.

Ingredients
5 cups of Flour
5 teaspoons of sugar
A pinch of salt
200g of Butter
1 teaspoon of Baking powder
120g of milk
Vanilla essence
3-4 eggs
I added dried fruits to my batter (I love fruits)

IMG_20220311_123549_736.jpg

Step 1: measure and melt your butter by using a microwave or double boiling process and allow to cool for few seconds

Step 2: pour the liquid milk and also break the eggs into the melted butter (this is the time I added my dried fruits) then whisk for a minute or so. Now add your essence and set aside.

Step 3: sieve your dry ingredients together ( flour, sugar, salt, baking powder)

Step 4: make a well at the centre of the dry ingredients then pour the melted butter mixture at once into the bowl, now STIR

Get a runny batter (pardon for not showing pictures) not too runny though (about ยฝ cup of water should do) and the batter is ready.

Place your nonstick frying pan (obviously mine is not) on the stove On medium heat then add a dash of oil or butter into the pan to grease then with a scoop, scoop a decent amount of batter (depends on how big you want it), pour at the centre of the pan then work into a round shape (or not๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜)

Allow to cook for a minute before flipping the pan to allow the other side cook

Once the two sides is golden brown our pancake is ready ๐Ÿ˜

Pancakes can be served with jam, Nutella, fruits (add your's) almost anything you feel comfortable eating it with. I paired mine with the seedless grapes (that's what they bought) I believe they have fruits or jam(s) at home for their self...

If you're talking about in Nigeria yes because our butter here is magerine and butter outside here is harder than our butter here... So yes my lady u can use magerine

Thanks ๐Ÿค— sweet
If only I have a nonstick pan to fry it, it will look more presentable and eye catching ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜œ
