DIY of an homemade Avocado Hair mask

Hi lovelies

As suggested by @anggreklestari79 that's I look out for ways to grow out my hair and have a health and long hair I was on YouTube doing my assignment, lol
And I figured out that there are many ways and things I can do and some I can buy that'll give me my dream hair (if I'm going by the blogger's testimonies bcos all of them do) so I came across a particular one that's captivated my attention and it will be less expensive when made at home and decided I'll try it out (an avocado, okra hair mask)

Since it's the weekend and mostly my wash day I loosen my hair and washed with my shampoo and conditioner just like the blogger instructed

Ingredients needed for the hair mask

1 medium size avocado
Few pieces of fresh okra
1 tsp of Honey
1 tsp of mayonnaise
quantities depends on the size of the hair volume

Here is the avocado, mayonnaise and okro

The first step is to wash and cut the okro into chunks as seen here

Then put in a pot, cover with water to submerge the okro (used less than a cup) then put to a boil

While waiting for the okro to boil, I scooped out the flesh of the avocado into a plate then with a spoon mash it into a paste,

I added a spoon of mayonnaise to the avocado paste

On the other hand, the okra has boiled on a medium heat for 5-7 minutes then set aside to cool, unto the next step

Which is to blend together all the ingredients to a purrie (avocado, mayonnaise and the boiled okra)

To avoid having chunks stuck in my hair, I used a mesh cloth to strain out the batter again (one can't be too careful right?)

Got really messy at this stage, buh scaled through, lol😂

Then I poured in the container ready for the application to the hair... Almost forgot the honey😃 thank God I listed the items and rechecked

The post is getting longer than I intended, wouldn't want to bore my reader's so, watch out for the application and other instructions in my blog

I hope to get better results with time

Thanks for stopping by my blog 🤗🥰

see ya next time

I also saw and thought to try it out and the outcome isn't so bad cos my hair stops shedding excessively after I used the mask

It's strengthen the hair root and the strands too to avoid excessive shedding out of hair cos it provided needed proteins to the hair follicles... I'll be sure to tag you in my follow-up posts. Thanks for stopping by
